I think everyone was watching Morgan, there's just something about his playing that mesmerizes the viewer, the other band members are in no way worse but Morgan is just entertaining to watch.

And there's no real point in showing live footage with non-live audio. Recording live audio is very easy nowadays, why not just do that?

@Xpl0ReRChR It isn't always possible to record live audio in some places. If the live audio for this was actually useable I'm sure they would've used it.

@harro333 Well I could be wrong, but as far as I know, since all instruments' sounds go through the mixing console (using mic's or direct inputs), recording should be as easy as pressing a button.

@Xpl0ReRChR It isn't that easy. You can take my word for it. The feed coming out of the front of house will have too much kick and vox and not much of anything else. That's if the band has a traditional setup. You need separate feeds to a laptop, over and above the front of house and monitors. And some places barely have a proper monitor setup.
