I grew up like that when I was young. I don't think it gets better. I think we get better. We get better at dealing with it. I disagree with coming out of the closet. I had a really close friend in elementary school..but then I moved away when I was going to Middle School, and I never really saw him again until 10th grade...
I found out, he had announced he was gay when he got into High school, and his older brother went onto Facebook and made an "I Hate _(insert friends name)_" page with a picture of the word GAY crossed out. His brother and the others in the group would jump him and torture him... i felt so bad for him.. i'll never forget what he went thru.

I really wish you had posted this video a year before in 2010. My best friend, Julian - 16 y.o told his family he was gay, I sat with him for support and you should have seen the look on his parents face - pure hatred. Sadly, in Christmas my best friend committed suicide and I blame myself because I could've done something about it. This world is just totally FUCKED UP! I wish parents would just accept their children for who they are, not WHAT. Watching this video just makes me want to cry.

My brother is gay, I've always supported him and loved him and listened to him and gotten into fights with friends and other people over him. I've always accepted him no matter what. And yes, we are from a small southern town. But it seems no matter what I do or say for him and to him, he always acts like I'm against him. Even though I've always been one of the few in the family that stood beside him. I dunno. I love him & will always stand up for him, but I'm done trying to have a relationship.

And it was chezzy, since i came out all my friends told me that, and it is completely annoying!
