@LordofDragns yeh, sometimes he uses his nosferatu to attack, then you can get it. just place a unit in front of him that is skilled on luck and speed (colm for example as an lvl20 assassin)
Joshua is better as a Swordmaster because it gives him higher a Speed cap (I believe), and I think that makes his Offense better, so that any enemy which Silencer could work on, Joshua could probably kill with a more-likely Critical. People say that Marisa should be an Assassin, and I think I did that once, but I really don't have much need for them. I would say that Colm is pretty good as an Assassin and might as well be the only one in your party, so that you can have two awesome Swordmasters.

The Hoplon Guard is useless in this fight. He has 17 LCK, and therefore can't be critical hit by any unit without a SKL or crit increasing weapon.

i nearly always use joshua to beat lyon hear. That and if it works OHKO final boss with his S grade sword high criticals are a godsend!

And my Lute has 39Hp 28Mag 24Skill 24Speed 27Luck 17Def 19Resistance. Both are level 12, and I gave them no items at all. Also, Ewan's Hp is 52.

Assassin for Joshua is best.

actually, assassins have a 30 skl and speed cap. Apart from luck and hp, all the other caps are 20.
