If you plan on boosting your car I would go with an auto for smooth shifting.

The only time I would like to consider is the new 370Z/G37 with 7-spd Auto w/paddle shifter. Heard that it's actually really fast shift on demand... would definately want to try it out... but yeah... nothings wrong with a good old Manual gearbox
