He has it on rebound mode, it's clearly capped lower than it has the capability of shooting.. Ions are great guns, I'm not sure why they got a terrible rep with EVERYONE - maybe when they first came out they had a bunch of issues? All I know is my all-stock ion has NEVER failed me, even shooting it's 17bps, not a chop in my career with it.

the vibe really doesnt need eyes. it doesnt chop at all. theres videos of a guy shooting full auto with a gravity fed hopper and no chops. not trying to talk ill on the ion

i understand your argument... but watch the movie on the vibe full auto. its not consistant, yeah it wont chop b/c of the low force bolt, but its not very consistant. ive shot all 3 of the guns. ya the vibe is decent, but for 14 bux you get eyes and a more upgradeable gun. and the slg has its positives, such as the aluminum body, but the frame is plastic, which part takes more abuse? and yes the hyper 3 is nice, but it takes special threads, im an AKA 2 liter fan, cant do that on the slg.

ya, you could trade off ur slg for a really nice ion, and there are some Sweet bodies out there, look up the warrior body, u can change the breeches between impy and cocker threads, diff bolts, diff boards, diff frames all the regs ever made basically diff triggers, u dont even have to buy an ion to build one, you can build em to what YOU want, i respect that about the ion, its not great but when you build em nice, they shoot good. its all about the user too

nah dude the SLG is solid but the bolt is a pain it jams a lot and its a pain to get out when it does...it took me and a trained tech at my shop 1+ hours to get the bolt our of the fram with a comibnation of hammers wrenches and pens/pliers. go with the SP or Dangerous Power g3
