There were about 25 fursuiters and about another 25 people not in suit. Lots of furries in the Bay Area. :-)

Both. Some people make their own suits and others have them commissioned.

Considering that few of the suiters are able to put their fingers in the holes on the bowling ball, it's safe to say it's not easier. :-) It's considered a challenge, I guess, and part of the fun.

Vision is generally pretty limited, though there are some mask designs which expose your real eyes. With typical fursuit heads, you can only see straight ahead which means it's easy to trip or bump into someone if you're not careful.

People usually make thier own, you really jsut go out and buy them since they all represent a specific character XD, sometimes you'll see well known character for sale but it's not common. you could also commission someone but that can get pricey

I know during our event, we used the bumpers. Was very fun (and exhausting) to bowl in suit.

We chose to go without the bumpers. It's more satisfying when you bowl a strike. :-) And quite a few suiters did! But either way it's a fun outing.
