The Shia's are the followers of Imam Ali (as) - the rightful successor after the Prophet (pbuh). we are commanded to follow the Prophet because of what he HAS (the message=the Quran), not because of who he IS (Mohammed). The Quran is the only source of religious law. Hadiths are full of lies, insults to the prophet and contradictions to the Quran. I am not saying they don't contain any wisdom at all, but the problem appears when we start acknowledge them as religious laws. The Quran says that the prophet shall complain to Allah on Judgement day that "my people have deserted the Quran."

The Quran is full of information. What is not mentioned in Quran is not relevant. It was the asking of irrelevant questions that lead to the fabrication of religious rules. The Jews had received the Torah which was complete and fully detailed like the Quran. However, they were not satisfied with the word of God, and asked irrelevant questions. When they could not find answers to their questions, they started to invent. This attitude led them to produce Mishnah(oral) and Gemarah(traditions).
Most hadiths also say that the Prophet forbid the writing of hadiths several times. When he came across someone that was writing he asked them what it was. And when they answered that they were writing his sayings the prophet commanded them to destroy it. Nobody was supposed to write anything except the Quran. I can't understand why everyone is glorifying these writings that in fact show disobedience and disrespect to our prohets wish.

First of all, taqiyyah is a global Islamic concept which involves concealing one's beliefs IF there is imminent danger, and even then there are conditions.
Since there is no danger on YouTube, the very suggestion of taqiyyah is invalid.
Secondly (please read my first reply as well), I am aware of Shia and Sunni ahadith, as well as the classification. Pulling out a random hadith from a book referred to by Shia is pointless, because we don't randomly label our books sahih, rather each hadith is studied for its authenticity by those who have studied ilm ul hadith and ilm ur rijaal.

Salam, I don't know what you are on about?! Sunnis didn't exist at the time! We call ourselves muslims and we follow the sunnah of the prophet pbuh. All the imams you mentioned are just scholars and they all said themselves that they follow the sunnah i.e. the acts and teachings of the prophet pbuh. Simple fact; Shia belief only came after the death of the prophet. Read more about your own faith first, to become shia you have to belief in the infallible imams that came AFTER the prophet

A difference that I wud like to point out is that the ayats that u hv quoted contain the word Shiyatunaa.The ayat that I have quoted is Shiateehee.
Dont even think thats a minor difference.In arabic even same words can have different meanings.The word UMM means mother and it also means centre.(refer to Surah Anaam ayat 93).so yeah i think thats enough dose for u although I had indirect references from quran and at least 15 hadees.

sunnis claim to follow the holy quran and the holy prophet (pubh), there are many verses which are sent by ALLAH in the praise of Hazrat Ali, and his family, will the sunnis follow the quran now? if the 3 elected succesors were right then why were they not appointed by the prophet in his life? the prophet appointed hazrat ali (as) as his immediate succesor, right from dawat e zulashira till ghadeer e qum, ie from the day people were invited to join islam till the time of his death.

we are commanded to follow the Prophet because of what he HAS (the message=the Quran), not because of who he IS (Mohammed). The Quran is the only source of religious law. Hadiths are full of lies, insults to the prophet and contradictions to the Quran. I am not saying they don't contain any wisdom at all, but the problem appears when we start acknowledge them as religious laws. The Quran says that the prophet shall complain to Allah on Judgement day that "my people have deserted the Quran."

The Quran is full of information. What is not mentioned in Quran is not relevant. It was the asking of irrelevant questions that lead to the fabrication of religious rules. The Jews had received the Torah which was complete and fully detailed like the Quran. However, they were not satisfied with the word of God, and asked irrelevant questions. When they could not find answers to their questions, they started to invent. This attitude led them to produce Mishnah(oral) and Gemarah(traditions).

Most hadiths also say that the Prophet forbid the writing of hadiths several times. When he came across someone that was writing he asked them what it was. And when they answered that they were writing his sayings the prophet commanded them to destroy it. Nobody was supposed to write anything except the Quran. I can't understand why everyone is glorifying these writings that in fact show disobedience and disrespect to our prohets wish.

Ask yourself, what was the task of ahlus suffa if not for learning diin thorugh Sunnah. Diin would not be as it is without Abu Hurayrah (RA) as a rawi.

I'm sad to say that the Quran and Islam as we know it today, are to completely different things. Where is the harmony between these two words ? I'd say it's gone with the wind, or more precisely gone with the hadiths, or to be even more precise: poisoned by the big liar Hurayrah himself.
I don't wanna call myself a muslim because I don't identify myself with neither shia or sunni. Quran alone is the only thing I would imagine submitting to. It is fully detailed and easy for mumins to understand

How did Abraham know how to do all these things ? He was before the hadiths and even before Mohammad. The Quran is full of information about how to pray. I could write a whole book about it.

I believe what is not mentioned in the Quran is not for us to dictate as religious laws. Do it if u want- but don't say it is an order from God.
I don't pray like the rest of the muslims. God will be my judge when the final day comes, and then i will bring my proves from the Quran. U can bring comments from imams and scholars and hadiths if u want but i will bring nothing but the truth. Until then u can keep calling me a kaffir.

unlike the stories about Jesus in the Bible - the so called sayings of the prophet in the hadiths were often witnessed by just ONE person. The Quran itself states that such documents can never be valid. Even the sahih hadiths are full of proven lies and contradictions to the Quran.

This is what I meant by ignorance (don't take it as an insult, because it isn't meant to be one. It simply means that you're speaking without knowledge).
First of all, taqiyyah is a global Islamic concept which involves concealing one's beliefs IF there is imminent danger, and even then there are conditions.
Since there is no danger on YouTube, the very suggestion of taqiyyah is invalid.

Pulling out a random hadith from a book referred to by Shia is pointless, because we don't randomly label our books sahih, rather each hadith is studied for its authenticity by those who have studied ilm ul hadith and ilm ur rijaal.

Like I said, you obviously haven't learnt much about Shia Islam. Taqiyyah is a global concept, there's no such thing as a sunni taqiyyah or a shia taqiyyah. Why on earth would someone hide their beliefs on an internet website? There's no reason to.
As for your second comment, I don't know where you get your unusual ideas from. Pray regularly and recite the Holy Qur'an sincerely brother, it will keep your mind clean inshallah.

Salam, I don't know what you are on about?! Sunnis didn't exist at the time! We call ourselves muslims and we follow the sunnah of the prophet pbuh. All the imams you mentioned are just scholars and they all said themselves that they follow the sunnah i.e. the acts and teachings of the prophet pbuh. Simple fact; Shia belief only came after the death of the prophet. Read more about your own faith first, to become shia you have to belief in the infallible imams that came AFTER the prophet

Both schools claim to follow the Sunnah.
The actual differences either stem from fiqh (like between Sunni madhabs), and otherwise from the concept of Imamate, which the Shia believe to be supported from Qur'an and Sunnah.

That's false. The whole Shia ideology stems entirely from before the demise of Rasulullah (pbuh). The historical facts and seperation come after, but the principles and teachings are fully supported by Qur'an and ahadith.
