just terrible and they cant make buffy go gay....thats why willow was there the comics made it go a bit too unrealistic but you know the whole vampire,demons,ressurection and stuff that realistic! :/

I like season 8 cnt wait for 9. I've watched Buffy since i was kid and angel. The show couldn't stay the same 4eva. I think people are hatin cause the story is changin so much. Kinda like how everybody hated the new Doctor cause it meant David Tennent was would be gone. I'm a little behind on the story. I still dnt know who Twlight is but I cnt wait to find out.

As far as I'm concerned season 8 never happened why not just leave the franchise alone? I mean fair enough it sucks the show ended but Joss should of just let go it ended well so to me the comic book season 8 and Angel after the fall never happened because i love the shows to much to see them get ruined like they did.

I agree with you in part concerning BTVS but the ending of Angel was not by there own hand, therefore I'll probably pick up the comics, but you are suggesting that if I cherish my good memories of both shows, I shouldn't pick either up?

They had to make Buffy gay too? All right that would never happen. I really hate how Joss threw everything off. Like when Buffy kissed Angel in the end of season 7, that was completely unnecessary & it didn't fit in the story line. In reality when you just spent the night in one man's arms you aren't going to go and give a kiss hello to your ex boyfriend who was the one that decided he wanted to leave you in the first place. Seriously we grew up with Buffy, we know her character, she's not gay.

Totally agree after season 4 the show unfortunately got the wind knocked out of its sails. I do routinely watch season 2 & 3 though, finest TV ever IMHO.

@marmaladekamikaze Definitely true. The only thing I liked was the relationship between Buffy & Spike (though it could have been better). And no offense to Michelle Trachtenberg, but I'd rather there'd never been a Dawn in the series. Seasons two and three are the best. The whole point of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" was that she was the one & only at that time & most unique of them all. Then in season 7 Joss made too many potentials and chosen ones, that throws everything completely off balance.

Dawn and Tara were the two giant mistakes, I love both actors but their characters just sapped the atmosphere out of the show...I'm not really a shipper but the Spuffy relationship seemed to be a crutch for the writers, it could have been better if it was a co-story but IMHO it was too self centred and not nearly intriguing enough. The Potentials...what were they thinking?. They should have made the Gatekeeper trilogy in season 7. What do you think?

@marmaladekamikaze I completely agree about Dawn & Tara. That's how I felt about them too, but if one mentions it to any other Buffy fans they might get a heart attack because everyone seemed to love Tara. She was just too awkward and irritating. Along with Dawn. Spike and Buffy probably was a crutch, but they didn't even pull that off properly. I still enjoyed it though. I have heard of the Gatekeeper trilogy, but don't know enough about it. It seems a lot more interesting than season 7 though.

@marmaladekamikaze I looked into it more on Google and the Gatekeeper trilogy would have been a great continuation. It is just too bad they used the potentials story line. It annoys me even thinking about it. And now there is supposedly a new "Buffy" movie in the works...after the potentials I don't know how they could carry anything on. Unless of course they make a movie that is completely oblivious to the series and old movie. I know I won't enjoy it without the original cast and same story.

This sucks. I'm never reading the comics. Buffy ended on season 7, it shouldve stayed that way. If you watched angel, you know she has a slayer network, the end.

Not every issue is in the motion comics set. Only the first 19 issues are listed.

Is this supposed to be Part 1? There are 39 current comics. Issue 40 comes out Jan 19,2011.

Part 1 comes out January 4th. While Season 9 hasn't even started being developed into the original comic much less the motion comic.
