The Gibson Thunderbird is one of the best sounding bass guitars ever made. Check into it. Lemmy has a thunderbird pickup in the bridge position in all the Rics he plays. Do you think that's an accident? Thunderbird + SVT = AWESOME.

This video is a classic. The main reason IMHO is because Lemmy isn't using his trademark Rickenbacker Bass. He is using a Gibson Firebird. Did anyone else catch that?
