I love the Closer to Truth show on PBS. I don't know why there aren't more TV shows like this. I get so tired of everyone trying to convince me what I should/shouldn't believe, rather than examining both sides and letting me decide for myself.

@ritter89 Im in Norway English is a First language But of coarse i quit using it daily when i was Twelve Now im Seventeen and i speak Fluently Norwegian and some Hebrew Can't Read either Norwegian or Hebrew. I, however, am a graduate student in Theoretical Physics; just starting my PhD. I study black hole dynamics, specifically the quasi-normal modes of black holes using the Israel-Poisson metric. This guy's probably read Hawking's Brief History of Time and thinks that he now "knows" it all lol.

Perhaps the balance of male to female interviewees was simply due to the fact that this appears to have been made by men? Also, I would think there are more men involved in philosophy, politics, and religious callings than women? As there are clearly female perspectives involved here I don't see a problem. A 'politically correct' ratio (50/50) would have screamed out as incongruously unbalanced and forced. The reality is different.

I love the idea but I really was disappointed in all the "guys" talking to each other. What ever happened to the divine feminine idea -- and are there no articulate women he could have talked to? I think so! Are the only "autorities" "philosophers and scientists" worth talking to about God -- male?

Perhaps there are some women in the longer doc -- but -- couldn't we see them in the trailer?

Prof. Frank J. Tipler demonstrates that the Omega Point (i.e., God) is an unavoidable consequence of the known laws of physics. The only way to avoid this conclusion is to reject the known laws of physics (of which have been confirmed by every experiment to date), and hence reject empirical science.
