for started that would be useful on "LONG" car trips. plus as well as he did a good job on this "project" its not alot of time. commen sense would tell you a game cosole could hook up to a portable dvd player like he said u basically need just a socket converter thing lol

ok how do u play it on the road i no u need a female adapter and a dvd player and a ps2 with all the cord but wat else do i need to do.

Just make sure u have atleast 2 female adapters, one for the video and one for the audio. The portable dvd player should come with an AV adapter that plugs into its "tv in" port which looks like a headphone jack. For power you'll need a power inverter that plugs into your cigarette lighter. You can pick one up at walmart. They range from $20-112 but you only really need the $20 one that has one house-hold plug.

there are certain dvd players that have output or input thingy on them. I hooked up my gamecube and played supersmash before. so you dont really need to get the ac to dc converter.

hi i have a question if you can hook up a ps2 to a dvd player would it be possible to run the games off the dvd player but using the ps2 controller with the ps2 plugged in so you use the dvd player to play multi region dvd's but use the ps2 to play them sort of like a multi region disk drive for the ps2 which can play nts pal and jap or US/C so you don't need a mod chip.

Well first i bought a DC to AC power inverter to power the PS2, then i got my portable dvd player which runs off a rechargable battery, and came with a video-in cable, then i had to buy two double female adapters "one for video, one for audio". Sounds confusing but it was all worth it!
