PLEASE: NEVER ask me again "if I understand" because I'm tempted to say this is a great impudence. (You may say that to a child, but that's another story.) Again I have to contradict, because there are bands I know which I hated when they did their first album, same with the second, but from the third on it was just great music to me. If I acted according to your ... uh ... purist (almost fundamental!) rules, I'd just judge the band from their first 2 albums and call it "shit".

Why do you guys always keep asking that stupid questions like "why are you watching their videos". That really is a pain in the neck. Even negative critics tend to watch a video to the end even though they might never do it again.

These guys take themselves far too seriously, slagging off the likes of tribute bands etc...

At the end of the day it's merely entertainment, of which we all have a different preference.

Chumbawamba should grow up and stop whinging just because they've had absolutely minimal chart success with their mediocre ensembles of whatever they class their dreary noise to be.

I too wish they'd sack you, or you'd at least resign.

I think that artists with a strong political attitude are always prone to be embarrassing if attitude conceals art. In my opinion, however, Chumbawamba are beyond reroach due to their outstanding musical qualities.

If you criticize them for whining and moaning, take a look at folk music and blues. There's nothing embarrassing about it, it's just a form of music. They have taken a folk song and changed the lyrics to fit our age. What could be better in order to keep folk music alive?
