I hate the MLPA, not because of what they're representing, but HOW they are representing it. Foul language, death threats, violence, night guards? If they put only half of their energy into stopping pollution of the waters in CA (the SOURCE of all the fish and marine problems) we would have perfect waters for recreation and animal habitat.
Amen brother. Nobody wants to deal with the real issue of pollution. They want to ban any use of the outdoors. HP wants all of us to stay home like good little boys and girls and play on the computers they make. The tree huggers want the whole coastline to be THEIR private beach, THEIR private aquarium, THEIR bitchin' view. The rest of us are just Killers and exploitationists that are blocking their view as they eat their imported dinner of Lobster, Seabass, Salmon, Shimp, Swordfish etc.
My store was represented here too. The Rusty Hook in San Pedro. I was behind the camera making Bobby a star. It's amazing how many tackle shops are doing nothing to influence the MLPA processs. I think every fisherman needs to ask their favorite tackle shop what they are doing to minimize the closures.
