Well, whatever is wrong it seems by your comment that you have allowed that to already shape their future to where they are "miserable, hopeless, and failures." Is this true or is this an over-reacted comment that you left? Because if they living, I am assured that they are not miserable, hopeless, and failures, and if they claimed to be, a little bit of God in their lives and they wouldnt.

they'll never be failures in my eyes...with the medical problems they have to face daily they're stronger than anyone i know. god had it easy, watching his son being tortured for a day or so...try doing it for a few years knowing that ultimately it will end the same way
