Frank earned the Budweiser distributorship because of his "A Man and His Music" specials between 1965 and '67...which just happened to be sponsored by Anheuser-Busch's Budweiser [Ed was the announcer for those specials as well], with Frank also appearing in several of their ads. One of the "perks" in Frank's contract with Bud was the distribution deal...
