You had Pink Floyd~and the Better of the two~Min-tall Bands~~Sure do love this sound~Oh~53 if you need to know~So much better for the head~Still grooving on it~And the new stuff~Well you keep it Rolling if you can find it~peace~
I was around in the early 70s - acid was everywhere - the moody blues were just sooo damn good when you were tripping - lights low, a couple of joints to mello the trip - and just listen - what a ride

this is one of those songs that makes me wish i was born earlier.... it's incredible that this LSD stuff was legal once! of course, it's only "illegal" if you get caught!! pleasant voyage!!!
Early in the 70s after the moodies reformed they played Jones Beach. We were all in wonder as they played we were all spaced but this is the song everybody went crazy ..All the original hippies from Long island Dancing and grooving to the return to thier heros... And I still remember Later Johnny G Long Island
I saw the Moody's in Philly, 1969 at the Electric Factory. Back then it was a big $5.00
to get in. I was in the front row ten feet from them. In the rows of seats they were passing pills back and forth during this song......In philly, what a trip that night was.
The Moody Blues are one of my favorite bands from the 60's. I grew up listening to their music as kid in the late 60's ranging from Days from Future Past, which I remember listening to the album on 8-track tape.
@subterrania Yeah,8 track wasn't the best but it did represent a technological breakthrough in its day. Imagine being able to listen to the music you loved and not have to count on AM radio to do that for you! It was all about the songs, not the sound quality.
I am not a" troller"
I am pushing 50(young right),but I grew up listening to the Moodies and no one can take away my love for this band.
The early concept albums can never be equaled by any modern band!
I used to do the drugs but the funny thing is that the music of the Moodies outlasted all of that!
Funny is it not, how time marches on and the music of the Moodies just keeps on getting better!
Only one guys opinion folks!

@unclebob100 yeah, until I got an 8-track recorder and recorded straight thru the track changes. Amazingly, it sounded ok.
