  • Just read about you in the Richmond Times Dispatch and love your spirit! Keep on cooking and sharing!

  • Thank you so much. I haven't seen the paper yet as I am at the monastery. "You can take the nun out of the kitchen..."

    Peace,

    Sister Vicki

  • I agree with Vivian and am looking forward to Episode 2. Will it be a sinfully delicious desert, perhaps? Whatever it is, consider how it can be kept in synch with the liturgical calender. Simple and humble, yet yummie, for lent. Glorious for Easter, organic, earthy, and reflective for Ordinary Time. Advent and Christmas should be easy. Remember the Catholic tradition of no Feast without a fast and no one should ever fast on a feast day.

  • Dessert? Not my gift. But for a "Theologian in Training", I might give it a shot. Look for a "quick and simple pasta" before the 5th Sunday of Lent. Thanks for watching...and GOD bless your Lenten journey.

    PAX,

    Sister Vicki

  • Sister, you should have your own show on Food Network!

  • Thanks, Vivian. You are very kind. Look for a new segment around April 1st. Blessings, Sister Vicki

  • Hi Vicki, It's Jen. I watched the cooking show and it was great to see you in action. I bet it was a great meal! Can't wait for the next recipe. :) Sending love!

  • Hey Vic! It's Bee - you and I handle garlic the same way. I liked the tip about olive oil. Great Job - I'm going to try making my own next time, Tim made some with tomatoes grown in our garden this summer.
