Thank for your help... I was able to fix it by connecting the device to an output on my cable box.. Sounds way better and louder... Thanks for replying
How can I make the headphones sound louder? I connected the device to an output on back of tv. The volume on the headphones is on 10. I wish it could sound louder! Maybe I need an amp?
@esco1185 Sounds like you’ve plugged them into the line out, which is normally used to connect an amp; this outputs a constant volume irrespective of the TV volume. You might be able to boost the output volume to this port in your TV settings.
If your TV has a dedicated headphone port, plugging them in there should work, because if it’s too quiet you can crank up the volume on the TV. Doing that will probably silence the TV’s output though, so it wouldn’t be practical long term.
Failing that, you probably need an amp. A big home cinema system is probably excessive (unless you want one, of course). You can get dedicated headphone amps that are designed to do this that should cost a bit less.
@freeworld789 No, the base station / charging station must we wired to the line out or headphone port of the computer. Then the headphones connect wirelessly to the base station.
does it give the surround sound?..or anyway how is the movie experience?? i mean does it really gives u the home theater experience and stuff...thats one thing im really worried about...does it worth it?
@asimmalik1988 No, these are stereo headphones, containing only left and right channel. As they have good sound quality, punch bass and good volume they will provide a good movie experience but not a surround sound one.
If surround sound is important to you, you might want to take a look at the Sony MDR-DS6500 headphones. Although I have not tested those, so I can’t vouch for their quality or how good the surround sound effect would be.
@DanGordon93 Hm, that would depend how you have your TV set up. In the box you get a 3.5mm jack to RCA phono cable, while the headphone base station has both a phone and jack input (although you cannot connect both at the same time).
So if you have a hifi, you could use the cabled in the box and plug the headphones into one of the outputs, otherwise you could simply plug them into the headphone port on the side of the TV.
@jakobrasmussen1 - You can indeed. In fact, that what I use mine for most. You just plug them into the line out or headphone port with the supplied cable.
@HBKingdom Yes, they will work. They come with a 3.5mm headphone jack (and 3.5 – ¼” adapter) to RCA Photo cable in the box, so you can plug your MP3 player in. But you have to plug the MP3 player into the sizable base station, the headphones cannot connect directly.
@ACB52 Hey i got the headphones only just relizing i can't use them outdoor without a plug is there like any etehernal battery sort of thing i could use?
@HBKingdom I don't know of anything official but its only a 5V transformer they use, so you could probably construct something yourself using a battery and a regulator...
@GTRMclaren722 - Yes, the soft padded area goes around your whole ear. Helps to keep outside noises out of your music, and your music away from the people around you :)
@639426 Hi. No, one of the great things about these headphones is that because they are digital you get one of the popping a hissing you get from other wireless headphones. Their so good, that I have replaced my wired creative headphones as my primary music listing phones.
