I wonder if the clothing worn by the performers in this series are absolute reproductions of those worn by the people of the 16th century, or if they are enhanced for popular current tastes? I say so, because the styles worn by Ann Boleyn where stunning. Absolutely gorgeous. If that's the way the stylish and wealthy dressed in those times, then that epoch should go down as one of the most creative and beautiful times for styles.

Last November I was in London and visited the Tower. Visited the place where Queen Anne died. Saw from a distance her final resting place. It was an honor to be there. Even if I did end up having an argument with a guard there. Who called Anne a whore and was rightfully executed. Yes this was in 2010. Wow. I love Anne and I wish she could have seen her daughter becoming Queen

omg i loved the ending with queen elizabeth (cate blanchett) that was so good! :D showed how great queen elizabeth was and how england wouldnt even be the same without her and therefore without anne boleyn. natalie dormer is the best anne i've seen and i have seen quite a few actually :) great video!!

The Henry in the video (The Tudors) is too young, too skinny, and too 21st century. Henry VIII had already been married to Catherine of Aragon for almost 20 years when he married Anne. He was much older and heavier than the young good looking actor in the HBO version.

NO Tudor court lady would ever have appeared in public with bare arms or without a headpiece to cover her hair.

The dialogue was laughable.

also besides the clothes, looks of henry, natalie dormer has no resemblance to anne boleyn, but yet, she played her the best from all actresses that were much a look like anne than nat

There's only one image of Ann in existence and that is damaged. Most portraits are just a approximation of a few scant ideas of what sh looked like. I don't like it when TV movies cast models in the roles of these folk. Rimmel eye shadow wouldn't have featured in the 1500's.

The short version? Catherine couldn't give him sons. Henry had affairs. He found Anne but she wouldn't give it up and he became obsessed/in love with her. After awhile he grew tired and decided that Catherine couldn't give him sons because of something from the bible. So he had their marriage annulled and married Anne. She gave him a daughter future queen Elizabeth. He wasn't happy. He found excuses and had her tried for treason and had her beheaded. He was a very fickle man.
