Congressman Pelosi is immoral and dishonest. She should be ashamed of herself. I disagree with everything she says about reforming medical care. What we really need is individual rights and capitalism. Deregulate now!
The capitalism we have now is insurance companies competing to see how much money they can squeeze out of people. Not a single insurance company is competing for low premiums. So SOMETHING has to change, and I think this is a step in the right direction.
you do realize that nothing has actually changed yet right? They are in the process of doing that so technically were still using the old system ( which im guessing youre pretty happy about) so you kinda sound like a ranting idiot. just saying : P
First, I am not an idiot, and I resent the assertion. I believe in capitalism, which is not the present system. If you believe that the current system is capitalism, you need to learn what capitalism actually is. Then if you wish to disagree with capitalism, so be it -- we won't agree with each other, but at least we'll know what we are talking about.
My greatest hope is that the youth of today will remember these days and not make the same mistakes of prior generations.
We, the generations that came before you, Ignored politics, conditioned ourselves into apathy for our fellow human being and created a consumer HC system.
can you list some of the medical cures or breakthroughs the insurance companies have made in history? Have they ever done any treatment, check-ups or research that has contributed to health care?
Your "too costly to save" argument currently occurs with private health insurance. If that were the case with the government, you'd be hearing medicare horror stories, which are rare in comparison considering they cover the majority of people who fall into that category. (65+)

Our prosperity and profit should grow from a socially just foundation not at its expense.

One scam after the other.
Lets see what laws they pass to demand that people become doctors to put up with their crap.
What law will they demand that investor invest in the needle in the hay stack crue when profits have been criminalized.
When those with moneyt decide to xrimvent the system and pay cash because they choose to live. Is that fair? Will they go to prison?
If a man is declare to costly to save and he refuses to die quickly with the pain killers? Will he go to prison?
