  • Maurice is not only one of he heaviest cats around, he is a extra-splendid example of what a human being should be....and is my friend. I learned more in a 5 min. phone call than six mo. of studying books. As far as his talents go- it's almost other-worldly. His appearance on the Johnny Case album with cosmic Tom Morrell (rip) in 1972 fried my brain. I love him.

  • He's doing it without pedals! Reece goes way back when there were no pedals and to get intricate chords you had to learn the fine art of bar bending. Even when playing one of his MSA pedal steels, you realize he's not using the pedals so much as he is turning and bending his bar. THIS IS GREAT STUFF!

  • Mr. M rides again. Great sound. Many thanks (is he doing that without pedals?).

  • It's so good to hear Maurice play. He's such a great influence. Yes, he did this without pedals. The guitar player did a great job of backing him up didn't he? Hal Merrill

  • Great Job on a great tune.I wish i was their kicking my hammond B3 with you guys. You really have a great feel for the tune

    Musically Yours Jimmy Jay
