I don't think they are related, they both have blue eyes but then again , blue eyes aren't that rare. If you want him to be Gaz then he is, if you dont want him to be Gaz he isnt. Infinity ward just stuck him in there to get people to talk about him, they probably havent decided if it is Gaz or not, nor do they care.
