  • wow! this was beautiful. I have to sing this for All State so this really helped. thanks for uploading :)

  • this is so great bakiak...

  • We sang this to! I love it!

  • i gotta sing this song, for an audition,i hope i'll sound as good as they do!

  • yeah too much vibration.. but not bad at all :)

  • This piece can definitely be done beautifully with an older choir, they just need to be trained to keep their voices straight (which older singers absolutely CAN do, it just takes a lot of effort to make it come naturally). This song should really have very little vibrato. But this choir had excellent dynamics (though needs more tenor on the A...which is easier said then done). The blossoming from p to ff and back again was really well done. Get rid of the vibrato and it'd be even better.

  • thanks :) i really love it so im going to enjoy doing it!

  • I agree that the sound was a little to heavy even though you can never go rong with vibrato....However, you guys have a nice tone! Good job sopranos 1:39-1:44! Nice deminuendo at 1:44!...BUT, The "et lux per petuas" weren't corrrect!

  • there are many ways to sing this song, and i think they did an amazing job

  • Yes, you are absolutely correct. However, when you do not honor notes that are written in the music, it steps out of performing the piece in your own way! And for the record, I didn't discredit this choir's performance at all. I think they did a good job but had a few minor errors!

  • well, my choir for school is going to be performing this song aswell, and im gonna try and get a copy of it up on here :)

  • That should be fun...I loved performing this piece in high school! I wish you guys luck! =)

  • This is a pretty good sounding choir...

I find with this piece though, because it is such a light piece.... there is too much weight even from the sopranos.

This piece I think is better suited to a highschool choir, or young voices in general.

    But good job:)

  • Thank You!
