@IndigoBipolarGemini There's a difference between Clone Troopers and Storm Troopers. The Storm Troopers were clones AND regular guys. By time of ANH they were mostly regular guys. And there was a lot of nepotism going on.

The clones were not exact genetical matches to Jango, they were modified it to make them more loyal, and to speed up their growing.

The reason, 1 Jango fett's DNA was getting thin and there was no way to replenish it so they started cloning other people (it started in the clone wars around the time of second stage troopers) first it was just pilots but it began to spread. eventually there where very few original clones and most where, by then elite soldiers.
