I thought this was 2004. Adrian was a Freshmen. And mark claytons last year. I was at the ou- Nebraska game in November.2004. 30-3. Went to meet lsu in national championship.

@69boomersooner You've got everything right except the last bit; OU played USC in the Orange Bowl for the National Championship. OU played LSU in the Sugar Bowl the previous year.

I remember there was a bunch of fans, myself included, that were hoping Oregon would break out their yellow uniforms. It was really more to do with curiosity, having seen how the looked on TV, they were also a good topic for discussion. However, because the temperatures were in the mid to high 90s, Oregon opted for the white uniforms... bummer.
