I imagine they refurbished this crank. If this was the stock crank in a new GT-R there would not had been a need to do it unless the engine failed. In all due consideration, the VR38DETT is one of the most precisely manufactured engines in the world.
@clos19851 Depends on the workshop. They can drill the weights, or regrind the whole shaft itself. But this phase is just a balance check. Imagine putting your hands in there. :/
I would have thought that the Nissan techs would have balanced the crank appropriately... why are you guys doing it again?
