He removes the limiters in Gensomaden near the end, one of the Burial OVAs, and I think he does it both in Reload and Gunlock. I don't know the exact episodes. but it doesn't matter because you don't see it. If you want to seem him completely transform, read the manga. =) Hope I helped.

My only problem with that is that the anime veered so far off from the comic now they seem like two completely different stories all together. I have know idea how they're going to get to the biggest part of the manga right now when a major character that takes place in it is already dead in the anime.

Truthfully, I'm not sure if they're ever going to. They messed up the story a lot in the animated version of Reload. So much so that they killed off a character that isn't even dead. So how they're going to stick to the comic now is beyond me.

Well if your asking about chronologically in the Saiyuki time line this series here takes place before the journey starts. So this would be considered fist while Saiyuki Reload Gunlock would be the latest.

But if you're talking about in history of when they came out. The Saiyuki premium OVA was the first. And Gensomadden Saiyuki was the first series. Then came the movie then the interactive OVA then Reload, Gunlock, and finally this.

Gensomaden Saiyuki OVA, then Season 1 and 2 are called Gensomaden Saiyuki, then there was a movie called Gensomaden Saiyuki Requiem, and season 3 is Saiyuki Reload, season 4 is Saiyuki Reload Gunlock, and this is Saiyuki Reload Burial OVA, which corresponds to volumes 3 and 4 of the Saiyuki Reload manga.
