Yeah, I was kind of surprised by everyone's reaction. We would never react like this in Japan. Running outside like this is dangerous in a big earthquake. But also, at this location the tremor was obviously very minor. I thought southern Californians would be accustomed to such tremors and remain calm.
Or is everyone in this office from the East Coast?
its not safer outside. power lines can fall on you outside. its better to be inside. California's buildings are the safest in the country so there should be no reason to run out.
