last question, I figured out how to change the brush size using alt+right click, but for some reason, strokeIt conflicts with that. I have to disable strokeIt to get the brush resize to work. any idea how to get around this?
Not sure. I have had a few issues with Windows 7 because it has a tablet feature that wants to be smart, but ends up being annoying. I was running with no glitches in Windows XP when I posted the video.
@parelt Thanks for the quick reply. I'm running win XP tablet edition. I can't get around the conflict.
You might like this though... I'm trying out a program called PS Brush Controller. it allows you to change brush size, opacity, and fade by holding CTRL+Right Mouse and Dragging.
@abstruseoni after 1 hour of trying autohotkey scripts and other means to get around the problem ive found a very easy way - you either add ctrl to the action (ie. instead of alt+right mouse drag push alt+ctrl+ right mouse drag) or go to stroke it preferences and set the Ingore gestures by holding to Alt
alright...i've got stroke it...but there aren't many commands for photoshop. is there any way you could share your configuration file and save me the trouble of mapping all the shortcuts??? =D
when you're using stroke it and have PS in expert mode, are you still using the keyboard for a few of the commands? i.e. undo or for bringing up the layers, etc.. I'm using a tablet and want to draw in slate mode with no keyboard. I think strokeIt will work nicely, but I figured this would be a good question to ask for the video :) thank you
Yes definitely I am using a keyboard and Intuos tablet in tandem. Only highly used commands get mapped to gestures. The rest is from menus and keyboard input.
