When i first encountered this GUILT i hated its guts. Watching this video did help a bit but still, it was horrible to operate on as i would most of the time forget to remove one spike. One thing that i did helped a lot though. I had a friend actually performing the excisions while i was doing the thinking on what spikes to remove. After a couple of surgeries like this i now find it a piece of cake to work on, even unassisted. Give this a try if you're having trouble :)

Simply put, the triangle you are trying to remove should not be connected to a triangle with thorns. As it is, this apparently took you eight minutes to explain. GOD JUST USE HEALING TOUCH and extract all of the needles, and den cut the pieces up as fast as u can, and extract the triti to the tray. If u fail the first time, u are definitely going to complete the operation the second time under 1 minute.

@animeredhead809 3 or 4, if you are on the DS. 2 of them are in this video, X3 deals with Triti, and the DS version has an extra mission in 6-4:"Third Sin"( harder than the first 2, but not as hard as X3.)

Also, The DS version is harder in that, after you remove the thorns, you have to excise the triangles before removing them from the body.

Here's what I do, I remove one thorn from the left and one for the right and keep repeating that pattern. As long as one of the gray triangles is not touching a green one it should not regenerate except for the first two triangles that are removed.

I'm not trying to be rude, but that was a bit difficult to understand. From what I see, two thorns on a side act as a "landing point" for a new Triti for when a triangle is removed. Once a triangle is removed, all possible "landing points"spawn Triti. Am I correct?

@Magmetor7 Yes, so when you are going through, you must make sure that all "landing points" are gone, in other words no two thorns can be close enough that a third one could spawn and make a triangle... Hope that helped XP

I tried finding a pattern. I kind of found one. But during the Fallen Heroes mission. I figured out a very good strategy (at least for me) You have to be able to remove the thorns fast though. I just remove all the thorns then quickly remove triangles. If you do that in the Fallen Heroes mission you'll have over 9 mins for the other 3 operations

Nice walkthrough, really helpful :] I found that the easiest way to get rid of Triti is basically to get the jump on it, take out as many as you can and when they start to regenerate, use the Healing Touch.

Triti is a bit more difficult on the DS version due to the fact you have to cut out the triangles.

There's a much simpler way to do it.

-Remove two thorns (any)

-Use the Healing Touch

-Proceed to remove every thorn

-If you did it fast enough, the Touch will still be active. If not, it won't. Either way, remove the Triti.

They regenerate(multiply) if:

There's two thorns in a row, next to each other and you remove one triangle.

or

When you have an isolated triangle with 1 thorn, that is if you leave a triangle which doesn't touch any other triangles it will regenerate a lot.

The thorns are the blue things sticking out and the triangles are the green things.

an easy way to do it is to use healing touch and the VERY start, then just remove all the thorns at once, then cut and remove the triangles. Healing touch slows down time enough that you can remove all the triangles without thorns regenerating
