Okay, so there's lots of stuff we don't know. However, based on what we do know, at this point, mind is a function of the brain. The evidence for this is simply overwhelming. So, although it is possible to imagine a ghost in the machine, operating by the laws of some other universe or dimension, or whatever, there is no reason to suppose that that is what's happening, when the brain is here, now, providing compelling answers.

Like I said, Dr Thomas Campbell has empirically proven that we exist in unobserved dimensions as well as this one. He is no Christian, as a matter of fact he is hostile to the gospel. but his experiments/evidence is scientifically sound .
