Okay, that was actually very interesting. I have never even heard of R.O.B. until reading about the Crash of '83. Now that I've seen it, I can honestly say that R.O.B. is probably THE MOST ANNOYING THING NINTENDO EVER INVENTED. If retailers had actually heard this thing in action for four hours a day BEFORE agreeing to sell NES systems, they never would have made it out of the gate. Very interesting indeed but I can honestly say that I don't need to go full retro and find one. Good video though.

I know. There's always emulators and roms and R.O.B.s might still be sold, especially because of Super Smash Bros. Brawl but yeah. Back then anyway, we didn't have one. Funny though, we had Super Mario All Stars on Super Nintendo that let us play Super Mario Bros. 1-3 that went to the Nintendo, and one of our next door neighbors had a Nintendo so we got to play things like Kirby's Adventure a little. Ya.y! ^^

When I was 6, I remember getting the Nintendo when it first came out. It came with Mario Brothers, Duck Hunt and Gyromite. It came with the gun and of course, the R.O.B. I think it stopped working. I just used to control the gates with the controller. Wow! I surely miss the 80's.

Nintendo should upgrade R.O.B. It would be VERY easy. Just needs a faster motor and more advanced programming. You could probably use the the components of a Gamecube to add on to R.O.B.

Or at least it was meant to, my Mom doesn't recall it ever working, I think maybe it was designed for NTSC when we were PAL or something.
