  • Jenny McCarthy is perhaps the last person who should speak for the autistic community. The GFCF diet's effects in autistic individuals has been recorded prior to her media tours. She thinks that she speaks for every parent of autistic children when in reality, a lot of parents of autistic children cannot stand her. If she wants to be taken seriously, she needs to drop her childish character and learn her facts before she speaks.

  • I am trying the biomedical treatment on my 3 year old son, and we are very happy to report it`s working. He didn`t have any eye contact and NOW he always wants to look at us.

Thank you Jenny McCarthy, your 1st book got me started

    Please keep the good fight

    From Toronto Ontario.

  • Congratulations! Doesn't it feel so good? I remember how my son had no eye contact whats so ever and eye contact was one of the first things to emerge in our journey.

  • Great work Jenny.

  • And also Dr. Kartzinel :)

  • For 17 years parents have been screaming for recognition that these children can feel better and in some cases get off the autistic spectrum to at least aspie level of not completely off it. Parents are ignored for the sake of money.

  • Autism is a life-long disorder. As such, no one can simply get off of it. However, people do improve in their affected skills. Parents are not ignored, they simply have to better at debating. That means that they need more research in their arguments less emotion, and less conspiracy theories.

  • I have an autistic nephew. I do want all autistic children to get better, don't you? That's why I'm asking: why aren't you working to have this incredible cure for autism that God intimated to you published in a scientific journal where it might do more good ? If you have God on your side it can't be that difficult.

  • your still being sarcastic. I don't have mass amounts of money. I used diet along with thousands of other parents. Our burden and time we put into our children is extremely exhausting. We don't have time to go after medical communities that ignore us. Jenny does.

  • Why not, Kimberly? Don't you think God deserves to be published in a proper journal? I mean so far he only has the bible to his credit. Stephen King has written more than God has.

  • well if you find it fun and empowering to TRY and make people angry by insulting another s belief then thats what you will continue to do. people who do that are very insecure. i hope you find inner peace. be happy that there are children getting better.

  • I do not use the word "cure" . Recovery is more appropriate. each child is impacted at different levels. Using diet helps heal and lower the negative symptoms so the child can be comfortable in their skin and live a happy life and be independent one day.

  • Improve is probably the best word to use as recovery is synonomous with the word cure. Autistic children do not feel uncomfortable in their skin. However they do need improvement in social and communication skills.

  • Kimberly, I can't wait to read your published peer review study. Do you think you'll publish yours before Jenny does?

  • no, im not writing any books on autism and kids. Im just part of a ban of parents who are just now coming above water to share our stories. many of us had very sick kids, but now have healthy functional kids using diets and detox.

  • Yes, and Southsider, she claims the "cure" was intimated to her by God. So God chose to relay medical information to a bimbo instead of a scientist who's dedicated his life to really understanding diseases.

  • Well, God has helped my son when his doctors said there was nothing could be done and I most likely would not be able to care for him by age 7. My son is thriving on the same things jenny did for her son. Thousands are.

  • I never considered her to be an actress until she decided to play this role of autism healer.

Seriously, if you listen to a bunny" over PhDs, researchers, MDs, psychologists, psychiatrists and all the OTHER mothers that realize she is nuts, then hopefully you don't have kids to worry about in the first place.

She mentioned that a kid began to speak at age 10 - guess what? Unfortunately he's not the first. He just happened to coincidentally be seeing this "doctor" at the time.

  • "then hopefully you don't have kids to worry about in the first place."

What about moms who used the same things jenny has done for her son but before her son was ever diagnosed?
