  • 请问可以有小鱼在这缸里吗?

  • i am chinese and i dont understand him because i am a banana, yellow on the outside but white inside.

  • you lucky i understand. lol

  • I did not understand what he was saying :)

  • great video guy!!!!!!!

  • what?

  • Best mixture is "1410" :

    1000ml of water

    400g of sugar

    10g of yeast.

  • TILL HOW LONG DOES IT LASTS?

  • Can you use the coca cola co2 aswell? just wondering :)

  • where is your check valve?

  • wtf is this i dont speak chinies

  • @MrPrazil wtf, dont understand chinese ask someone to translate!

  • ُُُENNNNNNGLISH PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSE

  • @mqatarm1 1 teaspoon Yeast + 1 to 2 cup of sugar into 2 little bottle and fill in warm water untill 3/4 full ...

mixed and shake all the elements inside the bottel, when anaerobiosis reaction happen (wait 1 to 2 hours), CO2 will be generated.

    more Yeast = More CO2

    more Sugar = longest reaction

  • @yong811 thank you very much my friend :)

  • Alright, let me make this straight to you guys. You only need CO2 in your aquarium if you have living plants in it period.

To make CO2 you'll need a 2 liter bottle, you don't need the 1 liter bottle that's just for safety.

Add 2 packages of yeast to the bottle with 3 cups of sugar and 1 spun of baking soda. Add warm water fill it up to 3/4 and mix it extremely well wait 1 hour, then your co2 is ready for your aquarium.

  • English please

  • @metle95

1 teaspoon Yeast + 1 to 2 cup of sugar into 2 little bottle and fill in water untill 3/4 full ...

mixed all the elements, when anaerobiosis reaction happen (wait 1 to 2 hours), CO2 will be generated

  • do you turn you co2 generator off at night?

  • @wazeer3 we cannot Closed the bottle for releasing CO2, because it will explore if the pressure inside bottle reach certain level. so day and night also need to turn ON. TQ

  • @yong811 lolz ,how will it "explore"? xD

    maybe explode?

  • 1:00 for not adding subtitles

  • 三天*

  • @mandyyew

1 teaspoon Yeast + 1 to 2 cup of sugar into 2 little bottle and fill in water untill 3/4 full ...

mixed all the elements, when anaerobiosis reaction happen (wait 1 to 2 hours), CO2 will be generated

  • @yong811

why the co2 onli produce in3 days .den after tat ..no more bubbles already ya !!

  • @mandyyew it last more than 3 weeks for me, add less yeast and more sugar.

  • Wath is the ingrediens? Wather, sugar, yeast, and? wath is the ration?

  • @csizmasb csizmasd, do you mean what is the ratio combination of the elements ?

1 teaspoon Yeast + 1 to 2 cup of sugar into 2 little bottle and fill in water untill 3/4 full ...

mixed all the elements, when anaerobiosis reaction happen (wait 1 to 2 hours), CO2 will be generated

    This is called fermentation reaction

  • @ yong811. The water isn't for the smell... It's for counting how many co2 bubbles are being produced

  • are you serious about water not flowing in to your bottle if it is higher than the tank?i thought atmospheric pressure would push it up.

  • @lemorpion1 if u worried the tank water will flow back to bottle, you can add check valve ... but so far the tank water doesn't flow back ...

  • BLA BLA BLA

  • thats not going to work you need a good diffuser.so the bubbles can stay longer in the water>>>>..

  • i make herion

  • @face2tm ???

  • @yong811 why must u use another bottle with water?

  • @9912699125

The water is for filter the smell of the yis & sugar reaction ...

  • @yong811 it is to filter the smell ?

  • @yong811 do you use a check valve?do you use a diffuser?

  • @9912699125 yeah, diffuser must used to make the bubble stay longer in the water and allowed more CO2 mixed in the water.

For check valve, if the bottle is level with your aquarium, that's no check valve needed, if the bottle level lower than your tank, it's required because the water from aquarium will flow back to your bottle.

  • @yong811 i know the use of the diffuser, but, what kind of diffuser do you use?

  • Very nice im gonna build one

  • aquarium. it comes to be like the water on the bottle overflowed and overflowed to the aquarium. im making a new seal cap. i think theres a hole

  • im using 1.5litres how should i deal with it? i mean my first try was fine and the second one the water became cloudy

  • @AesirSovann u can tune the mixer accordingly to ur bottle size, one rule.... more sugar will stay longer for your system, more Yis will create more CO2.. ur mixer cloudy or Aquarium ?

  • Does anyone notice the argument takig place in the background? Listen at 50 sec.s and forward... lol... Great video though!!!!

  • @ptmack wonderfull things TV's arnt they!

  • This is the best difusser DIY vdo on YouTube. He added a second bottle to slow down the CO2

  • HI , im new in planted aquarium, and i just start to DIY yeast co2, but i hv no idea about how to make it produce co2 as much as yours? mine can only produce i bubble per 1 min. why ~T.T give me some tips ~ please 6 seconds ago

  • you need to used hot water to melt all the mixer (Suger + yis) first, after make sure all partical melt, then u just fill into the bottle and add water untill 95% full ... shake again to even it .... wait about 10 ~ 20 min the CO2 will release .... If this still not work, just add more sugar on it... more sugar will stay longer time and more CO2 will relaese ... Good Luck

  • @AesirSovann u can tune the mixer accordingly to ur bottle size, one rule.... more sugar will stay longer for your system, more Yis will create more CO2.. ur mixer cloudy or Aquarium ?

  • hello, thx for the video, I am trying your method for DIY CO2 for the first time ever, I made the CO2 system similar like yours and left it overnight, unfortunately one of my fishes, molly died. How should I do to slow the rate of the CO2 bubbles? Please reply, thank you! 多谢啦!

  • maybe ur fish die is not because of the CO2, molly is a strong fish ... i jz can wish ur fish R.I.P .... to control the bubbles, u can used control valve but need to keep tuning until suitable pressure on your CO2 tank and cannot totally off because it will explore ...

  • @linking84 never put co2 at night because at night plantas alredy produce co2 put it with day light thats when it needs co2 :)

  • @linking84

CO2 is used for plants only in the LIGHT period...

at night or no light period, CO2 is not used for plants and become a TOXIC for fish.

  • @flamepeace why is it toxic for fish???do i turn it of at night?

  • @enrbar1

  • nope

  • nice voice are you a student?

  • nope

  • did he just cuss me out

  • The way you speak is sounding like Chinese to me.

yin yung tszo chee poki ti yang yang yinpulimtimyoo ha chinyinyangwa yang wa

  • im malaysian ma ... u ?

  • Your Co2 by yeast+sugger can hold up to 2weeks? i don't know why my co2 only hold up to one week.

  • try to adjust the volume of yis and sugar... it will be stay longer

  • thanks....i will tyr it.....

  • Comment removed

  • may i know what kind of yis ? how to get it ?

  • i feel like im the only person who cant understand him

  • why extra bottle in blow-off line? something sometimes come out of fermentor ? seems too lose pressure going to tank maybe..

  • prevents the gooey build inside tank, that way only co2 goes in tank

  • No Check Valve ... Shame on You !! ;)

  • i got Check valve but the video not yet apply it ....

  • What does a check valve do?

  • when i shake the bottle only the co2 can go into the aquarium. what happen?plz help.tq

  • u must used one cup hot water to melt the yis before pour into bottle .... after that only mix with paip water and shake untill all thing mix up ...... closed the cap and wait one to two hour and the CO2 will release ...... u must use fresh yis / yis segar that buy at cake shop ... dun buy at super market

  • No .. Hot water kills the yeast !!

Warm water only for melting sugar once the water has cold down then you can add the yeast.

Yeast Can be added to only slightly warmed water. Never Hot !!

  • wow ... got pro here

  • yong, i have try ur method,i can see the 'clean water'bottle have bubble coming out, but when it wants to go into the aquarium, it seems like very hard.i have check my bottle cover is all sealed proper. plz help

  • may i ask how u make the bottle cap air tight ? because when i seal it with silicon sealant it just wont hold under high pressure , co2 will leak our , unlike yours i didnt use air stone instead i use a CO2 diffuser which the air is pass through a chamber then compress it to make the bubble smaller so it can dissolve into water better .

hope u can teach me how to seal the bottle cap without leaking gas under pressure

thanks for helping in advance ! :) 谢谢啦!!

  • im used hot glue to seal the bottle cap ...

dun make the hole to big and u must seal top and bottom (inside bottle cap) of the cap lo .... now i'm using the CO2 diffuser that u mention too .... still runing well .... u r Tan Kai Siang ?

  • nice job yong....by tha way how you solve the alcohol released together with CO2......sorry I don't understand chinese........thanks

  • that's why need 2nd small bottol (clean water) to filter out the smell

  • alcohol doesn't leave the bottle unless its boiling. (+- 90-100 degrees).

Second bottle is for filtering the water (Like yong811 said).

  • O crap! It's in Asian.

  • asian isnt a language..idiot.

  • asian isnt a language...idiot.

  • O crap! It's a Racist.

  • Nice post... but I'm curious though, how do you count the bubbles? I haven't noticed that you have any bubble counters in place. Thanks for posting.

  • because this is not digitalize ... jz estimate and base on experience ... good luck

  • That is a nice tank you have. What lighting do you use

  • Nice rig, I've seen DIY CO2 injectors before and this is nicely done. However if your using a stone diffuser and letting the bubbles escape, isn't it kind of wasted? I'd assume an efficient reactor would be something to diffuse the bubbles into the water, thus retaining the necessary CO2 for the plants, unless you have some other motive that I'm not aware of?

  • ya, i agreed with that. The bubbles need stay as long / small as possible into water to allowed Co2 to melt into the water.

  • man.. wish you speak english.. ):

  • 1 teaspoon Yeast + 1 to 2 cup of sugar into 2 little bottle and fill in water untill 3/4 full ...

mixed all the elements, when anaerobiosis reaction happen (wait 1 to 2 hours), CO2 will be generated

  • nice video Chee ^^

  • thanks

  • speak english please

  • at the end of this video is very informative. thanks a lot!!!

  • 1 teaspoon Yeast + 1 to 2 cup of sugar into 2 little bottle and fill in water untill 3/4 full ...

mixed all the elements, when anaerobiosis reaction happen (wait 1 to 2 hours), CO2 will be generated
