one of my most precious memories is one my son will never have. listening to this inside our Swiss apartment, snowing outside when he was two years old sitting on my lap. i wanted to share with him memories of my dad holding me in his lap on our farm in Texas as he sang to me this song. it's in his memory somewhere, it'll always be in mine.

This song was recorded atthe Ryman, the Grand old Opry in he earley 60s.... There are are a lot of recordings of Patsy at the grand ole Opry,, and many of the performansec have never seen the daylight yet.

this is a live performence from the Ryman with the jordinaries , probably 1962.... the date is yet still unknown, But Patsy is as powefull as ever on this recording......
