  • Don't forget that when someone gets killed with an illegal gun, it's still counted towards the gun death statistic.

  • its nice to see non gun owners who are advocates for gun ownership.

  • @DeadlySyn08 I agree with you, its nice to see some one who's not a gun owner standing up for out rights, because even if you are not a gun nut you should protect your rights because once they start taking them away they are hard to stop.

  • maybe to kill other people trying to kill you with a gun duh you idiot

  • ESP in the back :D awesome

  • Your reasoning is flawed. Your claim that the prevalence of guns might reduce violent crime presupposes the fact that the society is already flooded with firearms. If the firearms were not present in such large numbers in the first place, there would be nothing to defend AGAINST. Secondly, the notion that banning guns will deprive honest citizens of protection once again presupposes that guns are prevalent in society. Most guns used by thugs are legit to begin with (i.e. legally sold).

  • Your reasoning is flawed. It has been already shown that now that briton has no handguns, the criminals still have them, and continue to have them, mainly because they do not follow the law. Law abiding citizens in Briton are taking the brunt of the force of the antigun legislation that occured there. Crimes commited with guns went up 400% since they enacted their ban. Law abiding citizens have a right to own guns in the US. It is our 2nd amendment right.

  • Your reasoning is flawed. Most guns used by thugs are stolen, not legit as you claim. Your "ban" in Briton caused a 400% increase in gun crime. Now only the criminals have guns, and law abiding citizens have no way to protect themselves.

  • I'm afraid your reasoning is flawed (so is your spelling - it's "Britain"). Obviously guns used by criminals are stolen (but are legally bought by citizens to begin with), but do you really think the sheer prevalence of legal firearms in the US does not contribute massively to the supply of guns to be stolen? There's over 300 million guns floating around in the US (the vast majority legally sold)...if guns were not so readily available, there would be nothing to steal in such large numbers

  • You are now lying (spelling is bad, I admit). Criminals will always get guns, and yes, they steal them from law abiding citizens, but in countries with strict gun laws (such as Britian) only the criminals now have the guns. Law abiding citizens are at the mercy of these people. Personally, for me, its about FREEDOM more than owning guns. People like you will never take my FREEDOM away, never.

  • Disagree completely. When firearms are limited, only the criminals have them. People like you would be at the mercy of criminals, as they are now in Britian.

  • at the current state of america it would be insaine not to own a gun because things

are gona get worse befor they get better

  • FAVORITED .

  • you have a vary good point

  • Like they said on That 70's Show "Not All Hunting Accidents Are Accidents" :P

  • dude this vid is soo right

  • Hey man, well said, great job, you have it right!

  • very good video, you need to become a politician someday.........

  • awesome Video!

    Keep speaking the truth

  • Nicely said. Going in my fav's. Just simple plain facts and logic, don't expect fools like animalsrightsunited to get it. Most of Europe has rolled over and surrendered their rights to their nanny governments. I always love when they say our XXXX rates are lower than yours, considering our states are as large as a country in Europe, you would have to combine all of Europe to even come close. But here is one for you, we have a vastly lower number of government killings against citizens here, hmmm

  • Below are just a tiny few of the people accidentally killed by guns! Thank god we are not gunhuggers!

  • and that's why Scotland has such high stabbings, muggings and crime rate.

oh, and did you hear about the grandson of an

anti-gun campaigner who killed his own grandmother?

  • Teenager fatally shot in hunting accident

    The Age, Australia - 9 Jan 2009

A family rabbit hunting trip has ended in tragedy with a teenage boy accidentally shot dead in Melbourne's outer north-west.

  • uh huh.....and handguns were outlawed in Briton in 2002 (might be a year off). Crime went up 400% since then......

  • Teen accidentally shot in stomach

    Coastal Courier, GA - 10 Jan 2009

By Lewis Levine Hinesville police have confirmed a teenager was shot at a home in the Eagles Landing subdivision Friday night.

  • Bourton farmer accidentally shot himself dead while hunting rats

    Cotswold Journal, UK - 9 Jan 2009

AN 80-year-old man hunting rats in a barn on his Cotswold estate accidentally shot himself dead when he tripped and dropped his shotgun, an inquest heard. ...

  • yada yada, there are very FEW accidents concerning guns compared to the number of gun owners. Sure, there are some bad apples who leave guns out in thier homes with kids, and they should be prosecuted for doing this......

  • if your mom or dad or sister or borther were shot by a gun. you ahve to looka t every1s point of view. just because you are not against guns, does not mean that they dont kill 36 thousand people every year or how much it is. and that is a lot of people if you look at all the other countries in the world, USA is the unsafest place to live.

  • hahahahaha gay guy at the end fag.

  • dude nice, that was genius with all the statistics and whatnot. I've actually never looked into why guns should be banned or why they shouldn't for me it was always "nope its in the constitution, now chut up" but this was great. It makes sense that the more good people with guns the less crimerate because if everyone has guns a criminal isnt gonna pop up and try something cause he'll just get shot

also the comedy of the voicemails was awesome

    guy: You are so gay!

    you: *holds up gun*

  • Once there was a woman against guns and she showed it by putting a paper in the window.

    Once she got robed

and all the naugbors laughed shooting there guns in the air of pleasure.

  • I love all sorts of guns, but I aint got one Im just 14 XD!

  • i love and have guns and i 14 too lol!

  • hey you made a very good point and your right if everyone owned a gun no one would have the guts to robb or kill!!!

  • you didn't listen to his arguments.

  • Tell us, then, why is your country owned by the British? I family left Scotland to free from tyranny.

  • "Where people are allowed to have guns there are lower crime rates"

Well maybe the places where people are allowed to have guns is a safer place to begin with (better neighbourhoods). And maybe where guns arent allowed are more criminal areas to begin with. Maybe thats the reason they arent allowed to have guns there in the first place.

  • yep but criminals prefer gun control area. Nobody like to get shot.

  • this guy is right if everyone had guns nobody would fuck with other people

  • hell yes

  • "If the personal freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution inhibit the government's ability to govern the people, we should look to limit those guarantees."-President Bill Clinton, August 12, 1993

  • The anti-gun agenda is essential if the New World Order is to succeed. They are using scientifically engineered psychological programs to generate fear and hatred of guns. In my blog "Gun Control BRAINWASHING", I break down exactly how these programs work. The link is on my channel. Also, go watch EndGame on google video. It exposes the elite's final plans in their goal of total enslavement.

  • Nice to meet you.

    I am Cheri.

    Loved the message here.

  • Good content, it could have been effectively done in 1/2 the time though ;)

    Speedy

  • First of all, outlawing guns is idiotic. Many thousands of people will still get shot even if they outlaw guns. If they do, only outlaws will own them, therefore taking away a citizens protection against a man with a gun. People will hide theirs, sell them, buy other dude's guns, smuggle them across borders, kill people that will take their guns away. There's no point

  • Right on dude the people that want guns banned live in pussy ass rich neighborhoods and will never see a threat in their life. We need guns for protection.

  • and makeup

  • Oh my gosh, thewinekone! lol

  • i own a gun and im 15..i hunt and target shoot...i dont want it taken away just cauz someone doesn't own one and here that people get shot...i have a liscense for it

  • Right on.

  • I have to say I'm glad someone else finally believes some of the things I have been saying for a while. It just a shame that most people won't even try to accept or contemplate other ideas than there own just because they're different. By the way, the end of this video was hilarious.

  • What if the government that you want to overthrow have tanks? Then you have allow the people to have the right to buy amour-piercing rockets. And what if the dictator you want to overthrow have armoured attack helecopters. Then the people must have the right to buy IR-searching ground to air robots. It all will escalate! You cant defend the right of speech just to buy crappy handguns!

  • We lets put it this way, it would be a hell of a lot harder to commit genocide on a population armed with AR-15's and AK-47's rather than being armed with shovels and pitchforks.

  • I tell you what, it's not just about allowing fire arms. Here are some weapons that could be used. Knife Pitchfork /sword Arrow Bow Arrow Borst 18th century gun with gunpowder Hand gun / Revolver Mp5 Ak - 47 Cannon/Artillery Tank Attack Helicopter (Apache) F 22 Nuclear missile I wouldn't fire my Ak 47 to an Apache... Where do you put the limit???
  • Here in America, you can own machineguns and 50 BMG rifles. I think that's a "reasonable limit."

And if shit would ever hit the fan, fight with what you got. Yeah, granted we might lose, but that is NOT the point. The point is, we'd have nothing to lose by fighting back.

  • Here in Sweden there was a riot in the end of the 17th century. People from my region marched towards the capital. The riot consisted of huge number of people, and they were also armed with fire arms (for hunting mostly). But they didn't stand a change to the regular army. Even by then the science had come far in weapons technology.

I would not fight back at all. I would flee. If you attack an apace with a Ak-47 or an arrow bow it doesn't matter. You are gonna get killed anyway.

  • And that is your right to flee. That's your right. You can do what you please. But here in America, a lot of us have a "live free or die" attitude.

And I can tell you one thing, I would not be a part of the "Mr. & Mrs. America, turn-em-all-in" crowd. That is my right.

  • Well, how about flee AND live free? :P

  • Well, that all depends on several things. If it's one state in the entire union that's corrupt, then I would just say, "You know what? Fuck it, I don't need this" and go to a different part of the country. (this is why I stay away from the big city)

But in a martial law type thing, that would be different.

  • Maybe you can go to ANOTHER country? :)

Or you can live in the woods.

Or you can live with a little less freedom. (Depends on how much the government takes away freedom from people)

Suicide is the last option for me...

  • Well, theres always Canada...but again, that really, REALLY, depends.

  • Yes, that depends. How much you appreciate freedom also depends. Like in USA, when you have food for the day and a home to live in and a lot of money you care about freedom. But in Iraq, they mostly care about food and clean water. That's why the majority of the Iraqis don't appreciate America so much. USA brought instability to the country.

  • Soldiers are trying to help them with their instability, America didn't take their food or water. Soldiers are trying to give them comfort.

  • well....yes and no. you are allowed to own a .50BMG in all states but CA. however you can not own a fully automatic machine gun in the US without a class 3 firearms license. very hard to get and you have to surrender your 4th amendment rights to get it.

  • i thought it was illegal to own fully-automatics here.

  • Federally regulated but legal, most states it is legal. Must be licensed.

  • oh ok

  • ??? dude like half of the stuff you just named are firearms

  • ggg

    spam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • very well said, respect from canada!

  • Brilliant!

  • Rock on man - both well said and logical.

  • Say what you want about gun rights in general, but the second amendment itself is obsolete. The government has us screwed no matter how many guns we own. They have nukes, we don't, end of revolution.

  • I need a gun to protect myself from the christians when they come to take my porn, weed, and marilyn manson records.

  • Why does NRA headquarters in Washington have only the SECOND HALF of the second amendment on a sign out front?

  • OUTSTANDING

  • OUTSTANDING

  • Oh yeah, that's going in my favorites.

  • People are going to be bitching about gun control till one side wins. and we all know what happens next

  • omfg my mom has that same pic in the bak ground

  • The argument that we need guns to "protect" ourselves from the Govt getting too powerful is bogus. You have a colt, the Govt can push a button and your house will disappear! Good luck with the whole "defending yourself" from the idiots you voted into office. Btw Just to piss you off; America sucks!

  • not true. here's why: if the populus is unarmed, the authorities can become oppressive without having to kill people. Cops show up with guns, beat you up, take you away... like in China. With an armed populus, the cops show up to oppress you, they may have to kill you, they may have to get shot at. Knowing this makes individual cops less likely to help tyrany happen.

  • well said ... also, isn't it blatantly obvious that the US is not dominating in urban warfare? Look at Iraq, it's difficult to distinguish armed from unarmed in the general population.

  • exactly, politicians keep saying "America is the most powerful country on earth"... but they forget that doesn't mean we're invincible. Ho Chi Minh and Yasser Arafat learned that you never have to surrender to a western power if you keep fighting dirty.

  • GUNS... ME LIKE GUNS...

Lol... I'm saving paper and wasting plastic.

  • Great video.

  • Well made points! Excellent use of the inkboard at the beginning! If I have a bone to pick, it is that you failed to point out that the police are not obligated to show up to protect you. Moreover, unless you're lucky and the cops are nearby when the attack happens, they are only there to get a report after the fact! Being armed means that you'll be less likely to be the victim of an attack. These omissions the reason for a four star rating. Despite this, very well done!

  • Wow, a non-owner who supports the 2nd. Rock on, dude! AWESOME video!

  • JPaganel, you clearly know jack squat about Britain. We have lower homicide than the US, less crime, and we have more liberties in some areas than most (eg it's much easier to get an abortion in Britain).

  • Umm... Don't you live in Spain? At any rate, all of the things I have mentioned are from recent news stories, mostly BBC. Are they all lying? UK has higher crime rates than US, which is easily confirmed by a 5-minute Googling. In most of US the biggest obstacle on the way to an abortion is a counseling session. Try again.

  • HOLY COW! You obviously haven't factored those dead babies into your homocide rate! You folks are OBVIOUSLY morally superior. I defer to YOU, Good King HappyChappy!

  • yeah, they'll know where they are. And they'll know how many there are, and they'll know it's an incredibly bad idea to take'em. San Fran just banned handguns... are they searching the homes of registered owners? You bet they aren't. Too dangerous.

  • I fully agree with this sensible video.

Just be glad that the liars such as the Brady Campaign and the VPC haven't gone to the lengths of our Gun Control Network, who have in the past, compared law-abiding gun owners to paedophiles and assaulted them.

  • I thought you did a GREAT job. Keep up the good work.

  • dude... even if there was a law against guns id have one.

Search my house the next day...

  • Get a haircut and cut those toenails!!! Otherwise, you've got a great speaking voice and style. We'll be seeing you on CNN or FoxNews, I suspect. Oh yeah, you make some great points.

Anyone who doesn't know why someone should own a gun should spend the night in a police car on a ride-along. They'll immediately see how utterly impossible it is for the police to protect us.

    Good work.

  • That guy is a bit of an idiot.

The US has a massively high homicide rate. Guns are banned and restricted all across Europe, and guess what! Our homicide rates are LOWER. We also never have incidents like the Washington Sniper or the Columbine massacre. We aren't all dictatorships either.

It's bleedingly obvious that arming society leads to more violence, rather than less.

  • Well, that's great that it works in Europe. It doesn't in the US. HE JUST SAID that columbine was a gun free zone.

  • "Our homicide rates are LOWER"

Well, our genocide rate is LOWER than yours!

Check out the Bosnia Genocide - 1992-1995 - 200,000 Deaths...

  • The only way to get rid of the problem like you suggest is to get rid of all the guns Fahrenheit 451 style, and that won't happen, the day our guns get taken away is the day that militia clause gets put to good use.

  • Dude, you're my freakin hero. Well said! Would that i could afford to put you on national TV.

Guns don't kill people. APES with guns kill people!

    -C. Heston.

  • I mean anything as simple as brandishing. And again, the key to winning liberals over is a national computerized ballistics database. An honest gun owner has nothing to fear from that, and should welcome the peace of mind it would offer the left.

  • Thats only if the gun owners do the murder and last time I checked gangsters and murderers weren't buying their "gats" legally.

  • Please watch this video then you can tell me what to do.

NRA: The Truth About "Ballistic Fingerprinting"

Also barrels are easy to change out. If there really was an effective database I would just buy an after market barrel and throw the original in the trash.

  • If we all have guns and we all have to be well documented, then an idiot who brandishes his firearm without being appropriately provoked can have his priviledge revoked, which is the way it oughta be. You should get the right to bear arms at 18 or 21, but if you act like a schmuck about it, society should take that right away for a while or forever... And if you violate such sanctions, you should be punished severely.

  • if you consider a felony acting like a schmuck, then the laws you suggest already exist.

  • Not in Texas, it needs to be federal. For violent misdemeanors too. And we need a national balistics and serial number database.

  • that's called appeasement ... see how well it worked with Adolf Hitler?

  • The national ballistics database is a waste of time and money being sold to America by a Canadian company owned by a form BATF official. Look it up. A file, rubbing compound, or even a thorough cleaning renders the 'fingerprint' useless. Even unchanged, the system only finds a match 63% of the time. It's a load of crap being sold to our government as an answer. When's the last time our government had answers?

  • But if it was technically feasible, you'd probably still be against it right? Technology improves over time. Government vendors can be hired by competetive bid for contracts and contract renewals. Are you against a database in PRINCIPLE? Why?

  • I'm against the database because it is impossible, regardless of technology, to trace, with any degree of accuracy, a bullet or spent shell casing back to the gun. One need only file the firing pin or scratch or replace the barrel to completely change the signature.

Also, the registry would only serve useful AFTER the killing. That doens't keep anyone safe. It, if it worked, would simply help LE find who owned the gun. This owner, in most cases, would NOT be the shooter.

  • Please watch this video then you can tell me what to do.

NRA: The Truth About "Ballistic Fingerprinting"

NRA: The Truth About "Ballistic Fingerprinting"

Also barrels are easy to change out. If there really was an effective database I would just buy an after market barrel and throw the original in the trash.

  • Great video! And I know you're not the only pro-gun person who doesn't own an armory. I would suggest, though, that even in a safe neighborhood, you look at owning a gun as insurance against an unlikely but possible emergency. A decent home defense shotgun can be had for $200-$300.

  • "well regulated"... there are means now to regulate gun ownership very effectively. A national ballistics database would make it possible for police to trace virtually any spent cartridge. Strictly enforcing gun registration laws would also help. Massive penalties for possessing unregitered firearms too. BUT DON'T restrict the right of possession. As long as I own a gun with good intent, I shouldn't fear registering it.

  • "Well regulated" has shifted in implication over 200 years, but to the people who originally wrote and interpreted the 2nd Amendment, it pretty clearly meant "well disciplined," "well trained," "well prepared." NOT "well-restricted." "Keep and bear," of course, pretty clearly means "own and carry."

  • So a "living bible" translation might read, "A locked and loaded citizenry being required for the safety of a free nation, the right of the people to own and carry weapons shall not be limited."

  • A living bible translation of the first amendment might imply that projecting porno on the sides of preschools constitutes free speach. The constitution isn't nearly as powerful as contemporary popular consensus on a given issue. As sacred as we treat it, it's really just vehicle to bounce ideas off of, and a way of slowing down changes in society to keep change from being disruptively fast.

  • Not restricted, just documented VERY VERY well. For instance, do you have any idea how rare it is for someone with a concealled carry permit to commit a gun crime? Knowing your gun's on the books is deterent to criminal action.

  • The problem with gun registration is that when the time comes that the government wants to seize all the guns, they will know exactly where they are. No thanks.

  • Texas Logic. I know, it's an oxymoron.

  • yhea there are still idiots who want to compleatly get rid of guns.. WOW they still havent figured out that ALL extreames are badd.. to many guns as well as too little guns... oh that other idea..give all the guns to cops? WOW worst idea ever go kill your self U ruin society

  • Hey koo video.. nice to see some one think outside instead of just regergetating the good morals some assholes where forced to belive just to stay blind to what ppl are really doing...

  • What a pillock.

Having long pauses between words does not make you intelligent!

YOU DO NOT NEED LETHAL WEAPONS IN A FULLY DEFENDED NATION.

If the prime reason is to defend against a tyrannical leader, change the political system to a more democratic one.

  • How do you propose doing that? Plea and beg? Tyrannical leaders don't negotiate, you need to take force against them. End of discussion. That is the reason for the second amendment, to resist a government and/or a leader that oppresses the other rights listed in the constitution.

Did you even listen to the guy?

  • Of course i listened to him, he's a fool.

Pleaing/begging is not necessary. The power rests with the population in a democratic society, other western nations survive better without the need for personal ownership of guns. The whole argument about tyrannical leaders being the reason to keep weapons rests on outmoded, 250+ year old ideas.

  • Dictators supported gun control laws for a reason, it ensured their power. How could it have if every person in their country posed as a possible resistance to their regime?

Changing a political system is never easy even with elections, unless you are talking about a revolution, of which you oppose due to your opposition to the amendment. The second amendment insures our ability to protect us from all threats, without any sort of ability to defend your rights, what are they worth?

  • The 2nd amendment protects you from all threats? How can that be, when gun ownership in america is one of the biggest threats to american citizens?

The UK has strict gun control laws, are the british living in fear because of not having a 9mm in their bedside cabinet? Are they at imminent risk of having their political system and rights stamped on by an evil dictator? (same applies to most other developed nations)

I have the ability to defend my rights... its called not electing fools.

  • It's a threat because of a cultural aspect; it has nothing to do with political reason. Stupid people will be stupid; you cannot blame the government for that.

How is it the biggest threat? People killing themselves. Look, do yourself a favor, watch the video again. I've been regurgitating half of his points with every rebuttal I make, simply because you question what has already been addressed.

  • Second: Not electing fools is easier said than done. Because, like the founding fathers said, the people will not always be well informed (again from the video). Politicians aren't trying to please people; they're trying to get elected. Are you suggesting that all politicians are honest, and picking the correct representation is easy? Not a chance, even for someone like yourself.

  • Since Uk made strict regulations on guns, crime has gone up. In a small country like Belgium there is more than 1 millions illegal guns. any questions? The mafia had p-90's before the police had some.

Democracy is dictatorship of the majority. And you can't ensure its not going to turn into dictatorship without guns.

  • The modern-day British have cities with constant video surveillance (insert obligatory Orwell reference here), can be arrested for having a penknife in their pocket and have an Olympic marksmanship team that must train in France. They also have interesting phenomena like burglars that like to break into houses with owners present, police that hide from teenagers in sandwich shops, and people beaten on the street for no particular reason.

  • awg1086: What if the elections are rigged? They are rigging the election right now in America. They stole Ron Paul's votes. They were caught red handed stealing votes for their chosen candidate, Hillary Clinton. Watch EndGame on google video if you want to know how the real world works.

  • yeh i doubt i will, its worrying that there are people who defend a weapon whose prime objective is to kill his fellow man. The rest of the 1st world can deal without arms in their homes, why can't you. reply all you want, but having more guns in your country than people is not something to be proud of

  • Why can't we? Why should we have to?

Following the example of others blindly is not something to be proud of, either.

  • why dont you go and refresh it with your blood then sunshine doubt you'll be missed.

  • this guy is a ignorant retard, has he also noticed that in countries with guns made illegal, gun crime negligible.

  • I'm living in a coutry where its realy hard to get a gun. And trust me, between you and him everyone knows who is the fuckin retard.

  • Nice video!

  • not to mention, our government was built on a system of checks and balances to prevent tyranny. if EVERYONE has a gun, then... "CHECK!!" if no one has guns except the government authorities, then who's in check?

  • holy crap!! I've been saying these exact words about guns for years and everyone thinks im nuts! maybe i just didnt explain it that well... but if guns were more common amongst citizens, then criminals would think twice before pulling their guns out! this made my day! lol

  • Bravo!

  • Gee,it's nice to see someone that makes sense :)

  • +suicide should never be a reason for allowing guns

  • and egocentrism should never be a reason to pass a law.

  • "An eye for an eye"

Parents are encouraging their children into carrying guns inoccently and unknowingly. Male youngsters get toy guns to play with and the feel of a gun brings power to the holder...

  • Did you rip off Penn and Teller's gun episode for your last quote? hehe

  • Thanks for re-posting. I'm re-favoriting, and re-adding my original comment.

    "Zip guns"

Even if every gun on this planet vanished, right now, any violent criminal with an 8th-grade education would have a gun in 2 hours.

They'd spend 10 bucks at a hardware store and make one.

  • Been watching Penn&Teller: Bullshit eh? ;)

  • I think the WineKone gotta crush on you.

  • As this comment was completely and totally lost, I thought I'd post it again.

Year after year my parents and numerous teachers have taught me, for the most part, the liberal side of everything, the local-popular-opinion side of everything. Your videos have broken through the opinions I was raised with. You've changed my mind numerous times, and even when you don't convince me, you spark my interest to research and look into certain topics.

  • You are right on target

  • I point out that Thomas Jefferson lived in an era where armed resistance was the only resistance available to the citizenry.

I.e. non-violent resistance had not yet been concieved of. These days, we are blessed in that it is not necessary for us to try and kill people in order to effect change. Keep that in mind, if you would.

  • I hate effing hackers!!! I wonder if they are bored or pissed? Hmm...you rock dude!
