The Balete Drive is true I've heard about that. My mom is from Bicol and she told me "manananggal" preys on pregnant women. She's seen one before and these so called creatures take the baby from the belly of the mother through the use of their elongated tongue. Scary shit huh?!

Reminds me of a story my father repeatedly told us when we were kids. There was an acasia tree that can not be cut down because it was haunted. Many tree cutters with Oracion has failed to cut it down, their equipment would break. But then during world war II when the Japanese heard the story they fired a cannon on the tree and it was pulverized. They use it as Propaganda about their fire power. I encounter a white lady here in the US when I first came to America. I remember that when I fall sleep on the couch watching tv by myself while everyone down stair. Someone tap my shoulder when I open my eyes slowly I saw this girl or woman dress in white and I couldn't see her face just her hair long hair. As soon as I get up she disappear I got soo scare I ran all the way downstair I didn't tell anybody cuz I know they won't believe me so I just let it go but I still remember.

Back at home i heard foot steps several times and 3 occasions when I was alone my neighbor would ask me about a woman/girl with long hair who was with me at night. They claim to see her through the window sometimes sitting beside me in the living room or sometimes sitting in the dining room while I eat. The house is destroyed now but my cousins still claim to hear foot steps sometimes on the new house built on the same lot.

I encounter a white lady here in the US when I first came to America. I remember that when I fall sleep on the couch watching tv by myself while everyone down stair. Someone tap my shoulder when I open my eyes slowly I saw this girl or woman dress in white and I couldn't see her face just her hair long hair. As soon as I get up she disappear I got soo scare I ran all the way downstair I didn't tell anybody cuz I know they won't believe me so I just let it go but I still remember.

@FallingSky7 Many people will laugh but 100% I believe you. Back at home i heard foot steps several times and 3 occasions when I was alone my neighbor would ask me about a woman/girl with long hair who was with me at night. They claim to see her through the window sometimes sitting beside me in the living room or sometimes sitting in the dining room while I eat. The house is destroyed now but my cousins still claim to hear foot steps sometimes on the new house built on the same lot.
