  • Damn, that things a jackrabbit.

  • i like this guy, ha

  • Its very possible. I recently sold that crown vic an it had close to 500k miles. Reasons why It was tht much was because it used to be a taxi. Police cars give up early because they torcher there cars. Natural gas engines run really clean and last longer then anything. Natural Gas is less then 2 dollers so its not to costy.

  • im waiting for someone to comment saying their lawnmower will blow the doors off of this thing.

    people are ridiculous

  • Sounds awesome. I love that engine.

  • my 4 banger would blow the doors off this american peice of scrap metal

  • @ghillieman24 Just because you have a Del Sol with a fart can on the back doesn't mean shit, kid. Run along and leave the real cars to real drivers, got it?

  • 135yota you a very wrong

  • @818mralkish, lol 420k and runs clean.....that's funny! 8 year old car when posted, that's over 50k a year. One, do u work, and two, who can afford to keep the gas in that boat? The crowns we have at our police department are almost dead at less than 150k. And they are taken care of....they hardly ever run them too.

  • @135yota kid, you're wrong

  • @Rheticle What, exactly, am I wrong about? I know the sheriffs office, hence I work there. what else did I say that I am wrong about? I know about the cars, um, we have had several.

  • crown victorias are the best car to drive everyday. there solid cars like a tank. i love them so much i wouldn't trade it in for a high class luxury car. i own a 2002 crown vic tht runs on Natural gas(CNG) tht has over 420k and still runs clean. hopefully ill buy a nicer 06 and higher model, with less thn 100k.

  • Hey du don;t lie to anybody you Crown V was at the DYNO, because 2 things: 1. you camera didn't shake when you push the gas. 2. you car didn't change gears until 45mph, the is no weight presure, SORRY man but is just commont sence!!!!!!

  • @delicius666 for one were you drunk when you posted this the first portion is a little fubar. and the reason for the camera not shaking around is because of the clutches in the transmission holding the shift for waaaay too long you will hear that if you listen a little closer. the 4r70w stock shifting is meant to be slow and smoothe A.K.A the granny shift it isnt meant to be agressive

  • my v8 camaro could take it

  • @jayguy173 really, you mean a car that is 500lbs lighter and is making 70+ more horsepower would beat my car? imagine that.

  • @P71intercept0r

    yes it would haha

  • @jayguy173 Re-re.

  • thats such a nice car, damn I want one!!

  • DOES IT GO ANY FASTER? LOL, Man jump out this shit n jump on a bike if l really wana feel what speed is really lk! Yall have no idea...........

  • Does this car have the 5.4 and is it supercharged?

  • @xxbal1inxx No. Its a 4.6L V-8 with 239 HP. And no, its not supercharged.

  • @Computerskid3 the 2004 p71's had 250hp because of the revised airbox

  • i hate how the old ones lag so much on shifting gears....

  • yeah me too thats why i'm goin with 3.55 gears and turning it into a posi rear end

  • @ghost1103 needs a J-MOD :) i love mine.

  • Definitely not, I treat my car with care. This video was shot after multiple videos were made and the car was driven around all day. The time that the vehicle was off was a matter of minutes which was not enough time for the oil to drain out of the galleries. So everything was fully lubricated as soon as i started the vehicle.

  • @P71intercept0r you should look into getting the Jmod done. it totally takes out the clutch lag A.K.A "the Granny shift" not to mention that it is actually good for your transmission 1) it reduces clutch wear thus extending the life of your transmission. 2) less clutch wear = less heat generated thus also extending the life of your transmission. Last it is extremely cheap my Jmod cost for me was around 7 dollars i recycled my trans fluid just did filter 1month ago

  • Dude that was a sick video, I love when these no at all fucks think they know what there talking about, saying it's bad for the motor. Dude you should see me in my cruiser, I destroy that car, 0-80 in a good 12 seconds..Poor Car lol....

  • oh yeah that must be good for the motor

  • There is nothing wrong with what i did. The engine was up to operating temperature. Jesus Christ do you guys look at the gauge cluster in the video.

  • its not the operating temperature that mattered, its the fact that you "dead headed" it from a complete stop. see when you just punched it from that stop, you have way less oil pressure than if you were rolling, thus "wiping the bearings" which, really, is not all too good for the engine

  • wow, oil pressure is linear to RPM's not speed, as the rpms rise so does the oil pressure, it doesnt matter at all that he smashed it from a stop......

  • ok, exactly, you just proved my point. he was at a dead stop right? dead stop=idling=very low rpms. you said it yourself oil pressure is linear to rpms. meaning there is less oil pressure at idle than at cruising speed i.e. 2000-2500rpms, which means he is putting a lot of stress on the motor(bearings especially). maybe one day when you actually tear down a motor, you'll know what im talking about

  • Ok, I HAVE torn down a motor. Our GTO has 30psi oil pressure at idle and 35 at 2000-2500 rpm.... 5 psi less OMFG MY MOTOR MIGHT BLOW UP!!!!! If i punch it from a stop.....It Idles at 950-1000 rpm.

  • And i wasnt really thinking when i said linear.....i meant they rise with the rpm's but not linear

  • Absolutely nothing wrong with what you did, it was at operating temp so dont mind the haters. Good vid.

  • Hey, What year is that?

Im getting a Black and White 2001 only about 90K on it too for $2200

  • ah hem, see title

  • CVN Says - WEAK.

    ask Quickvic :D

    Joking homie

  • you will go faster if you take overdrive off .i put it in 1 when i take off and then shift up to 2 then D.

  • NO you will not. It only locks out over drive and does not change anything else in the transmission.

  • @baker4190 I have a book in my car when I bought it, its the ford police car book says it performs better with overdrive on and if you drive it for periods of time with od off it will cause damage

  • @baker4190 Actually you dont have to shift to 2 it will automatically do it at max rpm, you should just go from 2 to D at around 85-90 mph

  • I timed it, you took off at 00:11 and reached 60 at 00:18. 7 seconds 0-60, that's pretty impressive.

By the way that thing sounds BAD ASS.

  • Thanks, i never actually timed it, that's good to know.

  • Ow shut your ass up.

The fastest Crown Victoria police interceptors do 60 in 8.4

    You can't trust the Spedometer.

  • I know, that's the stock though. This one might be modified or something.

    I'm a Chevy guy anyways.

  • Stock Interceptor?, or Stock Crown Victoria, becuase the Stock Civilian crown vic does 8.7

  • Wow that's slow...especially for a V8...my Impala 3.4 was faster then that lol.

  • @wildbloodydragon i have a 2004 impala 3800 and my 03 vic destroys it in a race so i hope their is a little sarcasm in that statement lol, impalas are nice though

  • @mralero We're talking about 0-60. I timed my Impala around ~8.5. Same as a slow ass 4 cyl Camry. When ST said it's 8.7 I jokingly replied it must be slower than my Impala then. I wasn't really being sarcastic but I find 8.7 a lil too slow to believe.

@SecularTechnology: what's the difference between Interceptor and Civilian?

  • @wildbloodydragon ok lol like i said i love my impala lol i just know the vics faster lol,

  • @mralero they should be. At least on the top end.

  • @SecularTechnology

you cant trust a certified calibrated speedometer??? what are you stupid?? lol

  • It isn't a certified calibrated spedometer ignoramous. It is designed to over estimate given speed. For speed limit purposes.

  • . These are Certified calibrated because they are POLICE cars, and need them to be completely accurate.

  • They SAY "Certified Calibrated" because they are police cars. It doesn't mean they have any better Calibration than most cars.

The calibration is for steady speed, not acceleration.

  • Yes. Calibration means that they show the exact actual ground speed of the car. The speedometer on many cars is off by up to 5MPH.

  • @rudolphna54

That isn't the definition of Calibration.

It would be illegal for cars to be off 5 Mph.

  • Take my, and others word for it, it happens. They are almost always faster than the actual speed is. My grandmothers 07 Edge is about 4 faster than actual, and my uncles Accord is about 5, verified using a GPS.

  • @rudolphna54

Take yours alone, and one other. Only 1 other person has stated it has been GPS tested.

Put a video up with your GPS time, I would like to see the enitre run.

  • @SecularTechnology Actually its a common practice from the manufacturers. It serves two purposes. 1st it will keep you under whatever speed you believe you are going which corroborates the up to 5MPH over a posted speed limit. 2nd your odometer will read correctly even though you may be going slower than the speedo reads and thus your warranty will void faster.

  • @xLuckydemonx

I know the tend to be 1-2 MPH off. But 5... get out of here.

  • @SecularTechnology Not kidding. I know a few people who have tried this with Posted Radar and with PC GPS programs and just general GPS's.

  • Nice, sure hope this wasn't from a cold start.

  • You should be able to see the engine temp gage and see that it is at normal operating temp.

  • Yes, because everyone parks in a place where you can just start your car and do 70MPH.

  • 5-10 seconds to get oil pressure isn't that good my car has oil pressure the second i start it.

  • he means to wait for the oil to actually reach all areas of the motor. Just because there is pressure, doesn't mean the whole motor is coated yet.

    Nice vid though

  • Coolio.
