are you referring to God? cause we may not have physically and tangibly met Christ in the flesh but He meets us in so many other intimate ways. Knowing a person doesn't necessarily mean knowing every line of their face, but its about knowing their heart, their words, their intentions towards us.

We can know Jesus in many ways. We can find Him in the fellowship of other believers, meet with Him through prayer, and know Him through the bible :)
