Root Your HTC Incredible pt 2 & Wireless Tethering

rooted with su running, download and install "barnacle wifi tether" for the market,

3G hotspot works like a charm, connected with ipad, ipod touch.

My tethering appears to be working on my HTC Incredible but the Wifi is not seen by any of my devices, i.e. Ipad2 and Laptop. Any thoughts?

Everytime it says "Failed to flash recovery image". I don't have anything else plugged in to my computer and I did everything on this video and the one before it. HELP!

when I start up unrevoked, It just stays at the "waiting for device, plug phone in now and enable usb debugging" I enabled it and it doesn't do anything. it just keeps saying that.

unrevoked stays at "Pushing recovery image" and doesnt load past that

@mizznica make sure your phone is the only thing plunged in to the usb ports on your computer and it should work

Great Video, Only issue is Ive follow everything to a tee but after I start unrevoked it turns my phone off and everything work fine until it reboots. It just keep rebooting as if I personally turned it on and it just takes me to my normal settings and I end up having to just manually closing unrevoked even though it says "Flashing recovery image. Do not touch your phone." But nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

@kchupe1 Are you running 2.2? If so that might be why you can't root. Look for Unrevoked 3.2. That is what you will need to root Froyo 2.2
