Hi there, thanks for the post. I have been using my SLATE PC for about 2 months now and love it. I appreciate your videos on the Hard Drive upgrade as well as the upgrade on the wireless. Can you provide the ITEM # of the intel WIRELESS card you upgraded to? I found two on ebay, one has bluetooth and one doesnt.
Thanks for posting these ASUS ep121 upgrade walkthru vids. I just got one, and was wondering: How much more RAM did you put in yours? Can you go past the 4GB max?
Nice write up Malfunkshen. I was noticing connection issues on the slate as well. Did the Advanced-n 6230 help your connection speed considerably? Also did your slate come with any discoloration as far as maybe a little light leakage here and there on the edges. Mine has little white clouds along the edges and was wondering if this is a non-issue that I should ignore.
Would sure love to know if intel wireless display works now that you upgraded to the intel wifi card. I know the i5 470um is not listed on intel's site as supported but you never know.
@dpolvere Not sure what list you're referring to "on Intel's site," but the 470UM is shown as supported -- with the right wireless card, etc. Look on the Intel Wireless Display page under System Requirements...
@louisstamour The Intel web page has been updated since i first looked. Good to know now, thanks. I have the Intel wifi card on order and should know the answer to my inquiry next week.
