  • My goodness... It broke my heart when I went there...

    Especially the story about the kid and the tricicle... His dad was inside the house (so he was somewhat protected), the kid was outside in his trycicle... When the father went outside to look for the child he only saw this jello like substance on top of the trycicle. The kid melted because of the heat.

  • Wow, ... . My wife and I are going to Hiroshima to visit the peace memorial. I stopped watching a little in so I still have some surprises ;-). Good travels!

  • honestly I really would not want to be American in that museum, I think it would be really awkward. I'd want to go just to see that watch though, I'd be too awkward to look at the children clothes and bike >.<;;

  • @Rawrzellers yeah its a very odd feeling being in that place BUT it is very educational. There are plenty of other americans there so you would`nt have to feel alone or singled out. I didnt feel ashamed to be there, the war was WAY before my time so i have nothing to feel guilty about.

  • @CelestialShadow19 I guess your right, I'd just be worried if someone there was rude enough to automatically affiliate me with what happened. Was Hiroshima the only place ever to be hit from a nuclear bomb?

  • @Rawrzellers No there were too places, Nagasaki was the other city

  • @CelestialShadow19 Oh I never knew about Nagasaki >.>;; go we were really bomb happy I guess. I wonder if in an alternate universe what would've happened if the US didn't drop the bomb.
