Not fully automatic, you still need to go and pull the lever, and pick up the cobble when it's done.

Man if there was a patch for pistons that allowed the old functions of the piston mod, and there is already a patch that Hippoplatimus, the original creator of the pistons, but I also want him to make a patch that includes that and allows pistons to break blocks as seen in this video. I would make the patch myself ... it's just that I cannot find a piston mod download below BEta 1.6

If you're going to cheat materials you might as well have just used toomanyitems.

@TheGreatSeraphim it isnt cheating in materials, when flowing lava and flowing water hit, they form cobble, which then gets crushed to its dropped form, which is a part of the old pistons mod. there is no cheating in items at all

Now download better than wolves mod and put a hopper where the collection pit is, then a minecart with chest below that and a detector so it can sense when the chest is full and when it is have a piston push the minecart off and reload it with another chest cart. Then have slaves in the back that empty the chest carts and put them into chests for you. (I kid about the slaves part)

@MCChronological The original piston mod that this was made with (not the official version) would launch players, items, etc fairly far when extended, allowing them to push items upwards as in this video. It's no longer possible... nor, for that matter, is crushing blocks with pistons.
