Sweet Emotion Bass Cover

I realize you posted this almost 3 years ago, but you kick ass, young man! I have been playing guitar for 30 years, but am just starting on the bass. The bass line for Sweet Emotion is my bench mark. When I can play that, I'll be happy. There are plenty of posts of a similar nature on YT, and I've only heard one better, and that's Tom Hamilton himself! I can't imagine how good you'll be by the time you're an old far like me!

Not sure...kid is okay...his fingering is not bad...but this is obviously either a dubover or really bad video editing. Example... 2:05, 2:20, 2:30, 2:40...ETC...

@chrisosti Hey you're right.... the bass tone is the same at 2.05 from 1 frame to the other.. yet ye plays it at the 5th fret E string and then open E string.... .. also his intro part... he isnt playing the sustained 12th fret A.. yet i hear it .... hmmmm

Long time Aerosmith fan since 1973.. Joe Steven Tom Brad and Joey would easily let you accompany them on this song. That said you do want you want with that bass man you've earned it .you're video shows you play with feeling. Always play 4 yourself first and that feeling that you get when you do. Then you decide whether or not to entertain with your talent if not you still got the feeling.

Great job man, At you age you could be doing big things by the time your 21. Just a word of advice though. Practice standing up sometimes (if you don't already). It's a bitch if you get so comfortable sitting down, and then have to play a show and your fret wrist is at a different angle. (Not trolling ya, just trying to help ya out). Keep it up dude!

By saying bass is easier you just admited to us that you have no idea what you are talking about and would probably have never picked up guitar in your life. either that or you suck. and i play both(not for a band) and i say do the crazy fast stuff on guitar takes less practice then being able to jam with a drummer on bass. bass is about improvistation in most cases. thats why bands like rush and areosmith have bass lines completely different from guitar. But in metal its a different story.
