  • Hey mate .. were did u get the 4" lift for this... I got 2" all round but i need to get more lift in the front.. the rear is easy to lift ... Just the front end is a bitch.... BTW did you achieve the front lift with a BJflip.

Also how did you go doing a 2" body lift.. I just got my lift blocks today just wondering if you ran into any probs

  • Nice car, I own a Opel Frontera, it's kinda the little smaller version than this. But they have about the same offroad capabilites. Only difference really is the size.

  • Yeah I could, not sure why, but it could...

For me offroading is going as slow as possible, but as fast as necessary!

  • god ur such a bitch, u coulda hit that going wayy faster

  • So? mine is running strong too, so whats your point?

  • haha my 96 isuzu trooper has 222,000 miles on it and still running strong

  • Road manners are fine IMO

I had to do plenty... just because I made everything myself. But the bodylift isn't hard.

  • by taking the swaybars out how are the road manners

  • nice i got a isuzu bighorn plaisir with same mods ball joint flip, no bumpys or sway bars, emu shocks dobi rear springs 3 inch lift lifted with tosions pretty much everything that didn't cost a dollar! apart from springs, i have a 2" body lift lit but haven't done it yet because of the radiator and stuff, what did you have to do to do your lift? so i know what i'm in for

  • 1996

  • what year is the trooper?

  • hey mate what did you do to the front to get more flex? i have 2 inch lift in myn and is bretty riged, have you got the front swaybar removed?

  • @TheScruff123

Low profile upper and lower bumpstops, balljointflip, balljointspacer and no swaybars front and rear.

Since this video I did an extra inch bodylift (2" total) and just ordered 35" tires.

  • @OpelOffroader cheers, i have done a ball join flip, but i still cant gain full upward wheel travel even to the standard bumpstop. this is with swaybars removed also. any ideas? wouls a ball joint spacer fix this? cheers

  • @TheScruff123

A balljoint spacer will only give some extra drop travel.

But how do you check your front upward travel??

It also depends a lot on weight transfer. I get les upward travel (on a front wheel) when I put a front wheel on a rock than when I put a rear wheel on the same rock.

    See the point?

  • No.. Why??

    Its just a 3.2 V6!

Maybe due to the camera it sounds like a diesel..

  • @OpelOffroader no isuzu did make a 3.1 diesel for the tropper mostly used inda east

  • @miklo454

I know, overhere most are also diesels..

But why would he think I "fitted" mine with a diesel?

    All diesels had hoodscoops

  • I take it you fitted the diesel engine

  • nice trooper. i have a rodeo that im fixing up slowly so far i have 4 inch lift and 32s. but being 16 i dont got lots of money to fix it up
