  • Love my P345! Over 900 rounds and no issues :)

  • i bought this gun 4 years ago,its light wieght for a .45, full size, I have put about 2000 rounds through mine, never once..not one malfuction..it eats shitty gun range reloads..hollow points..standard ammo ect ect... This pistol is like a goddamned AK47, the only bad thing that happened was my fault..i stained the polymer frame with powderblast solvent while cleaning..stained the black polymer white in a few spots on the handle..so i got the frame cerakoted in acu camo..now it is truly bad ass.

  • I like everything except the sights. If I can get past that I think this will become a nice addition to my collection

  • This a very great gun .Bought one last month its great for conceal.

  • So I have a dumb question. When you say fixed sights does that mean that they cannot be removed for an upgrade? I totally love most qualities of this firearm, I would like the option to add night sights though. And great video btw.

  • Just picked up one of these for 200$. I think I got a bad ass deal

  • How reliable do you think it is i want one so bad!! i have owned 40' but i want a 45 and does it eat all ammo

  • @1Demonheadbussa Great gun It will eat anything. I never had one problem with it at all. I just sold it a few weeks ago for a new project but for the money you cant go wrong with this gun.

  • @blacktrx409 For the money? I would carry the P345 on duty over anything else I can think of. Quality is up there with the more expensive brands. I have to carry a Glock G22 on duty. But I would prefer the P345. I might prefer the G21SF overall. I have put 1000's of rounds through mine for a concealed carry, it can't be beat. I keep mine on the nightstand as well.

  • @1Demonheadbussa buy one. great gun. serious bang for your buck..eats any ammo..at least mine does.

  • @1Demonheadbussa

The one thing you can always bet on with a Ruger is their reliability, especially the old school P series. My brother owns a P345, I own a P89 and P95, LCP and LC9 and in my experience and his with their firearms we have never had a single issue...not ONE! Currently waiting on an order for their SR1911 and my brother is a couple months away from buying one of their SR556 AR15 variants...awesome company and customer service is 2nd to none! My favorite gun manufacturer by far

  • how are +p's in it ????

  • does it use 9111 mags

  • Sweet deal! I just bought mine today, nowhere near that kind of deal tho! Good review

  • Looks like the serial number plate on the right side of the gun fell off.

  • @atatkfighter Note: the SN is covered with a piece of what appears to be black electrical tape.

  • not a bad gun for the money, but im not sure about the reliability. Last couple times i took my p345 to the range it jammed several times. Ive put over 500 rds thru it, it should be broke in by now....Ive noticed mine doesnt like cheap ammo like tula or american eagle....of course the 30 dollar home defense ammo shoots fine...If i encounter more jamms im gonna ditch it for a glock 45....

  • @MrPettj I had a similar problem with mine at about the 3000 round mark. I replaced the recoil spring and the magazine springs (mine had been compressed for too long) and it has not had a bobble. Mine feeds everything, but does not shoot the remington UMC ammo very accurately. With anything else it shoots like a champ. I prefer it over any of my glocks or Sigs. No complaints.

  • what brand was the light

  • Thanks for the GREAT review! You did a really good job!

  • This gun is not full sized. It's a great gun otherwise. Great overview though otherwise.

  • I would totally get this gun....if it were about 60-100 dollars cheaper...

  • Very nice basic overview. Love mine. Is that Don Hume the H715-M W.C. model? It looks pretty nice. I have the Ruger (by Galco) Cop 3-slot. Nice holster but a hassle belting it.

  • @kevechkin I hear you, everyone has their own preferences, personally it doesn't bother me one way or the other. Although sometimes i like to feel that weight of steel, feel like your holding a real firearm and not some airsoft pistol.

  • @kevechkin seems so deceiving when people say plastic, polymer is actually very very strong. :D

  • I bought this gun for my father for his 60th birthday. He loves the way it shoots and the way it feels in his hands.

  • most underrated modern 45 out there....very good weapon for the money

  • Good video and nice looking piece. Do you know if Ruger plans on making an SR-45?

  • @kevechkin Plastic front and Steel and plastic rear.

  • @blacktrx409 not plastic, its a polymer resign mix. plastic aint string enough

  • Nice video Just jumping in to the firearm pool. I was looking at this model and the P90.

  • this is a great gun! nice review.

  • i like how the p345, sr9, and lcp all have the same styling of grip. it would also be cool if they all keep the same type of trigger/safety mechanisms.

  • @jasonsg4111 Thanks my friend.

  • @DangerousDude2010 Thanks man... Its a fun gun to shoot.
