It's simple my blubbery brother from another mother, ; ) .308 has more range but more kick. Men are bigger. When you're being shot at from distance would you rather have a .308 or a .223? Ain't no choice for me, it's obvious. Women have to choose according to what's important to them. Sometimes the kick of a more powerful round is debilitating to accuracy. It is what it is, that's all it is.
