thunder road e' la mia canzone preferita tra le tante del "GRANDE BRUCE ".. speriamo che la riproponga nei prossimi tre concerti italiani....i hope !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As someone who's parents listened to the Boss at The Stone Pony, I think we need a Springsteen for this age. Who's singing songs about our lives today? Lady Gaga isn't talking about my life. Jay-Z doesn't sing about me. Rock needs a shot in the arm and my generation needs a working class hero like the Boss.
I was there that Saturday evening and I considered it a privilege to witness as far as I'm concerned one of the greatest singer/song-writers who has ever walked on our planet perform one of the greatest sets that I have ever seen. If Bruce had been British he would have been knighted by now - So all I can say is "Arise Sir Bruce you are The Boss" and please come back soon.
@bensimps123 That Math Teacher is one of the finest drummers in the world. Max Weinberg--considered by many drummers to be the best in the last 20 years.
I know they like to have the whole band sing and everything and with the huge crowds its better to have people who sing up at the front of the stage, but I sure like the old performances where Roy sings that high harmony part
Glastonbury has seen over many years some greatest icons of the music business take the Pyramid Stage - Bruce walks out and the 1st song he does is a tribute to Joe Strummer from The Clash he then goes onto to put together one of the all time live shows. A show full of pure raw energy infront of 135.000 people. We were about 20 rows away from the front and If he was English he would have been knighted. All I can say is: "Arise Sir Bruce" and come back soon.
One of the greatest songs and most beautiful lyrics of all time ! But why the hell is no crowd in this bloody world able to match the piano when they sing along in the beginning ?
@smokiesnwine For the record, the BBC, were not showing the concert live but on a time delay on BBC2 and Tenth Avenue Freeze Out was likely being played live at the moment but got superimposed on what was being shown on TV. Sometime during the broadcast they switched to live so viewers got the beginning and end of the show.
Bloody Hell!! There are so many millions who don't know what there are missing! Loved him since 75 and seen nearly 20 shows - you must see him once in your life!
@ellisqpr86 Feel so sorry for them - I'm a Boss fan, don't get me wrong - but to be on the same night as Bruce - Hard Luck! - Like even a band like Kiss or Metallica doesn't match these guys
@AdzTurner Challenged only by, tenth avenue freeze out, jungleland, born to run, night meeting across the river, she's the one and my personal favourite intro of all time backstreets. :)
Tenth Avenue Freeze Out! The Beeb does it again. Finger on the pulse of the history of rock and roll. Just point the camera and leave it to Bruce.

I think the reason the BBC called it Tenth-Avenue Freeze Out is because anyone with sense had fled the tv studio and gone to join the crowd..
