I trained when I was about 17- 18 but not too seriously. After some time out came back when I was 24 and slowly started training more seriously; started stretching most days - I couldn't do the splits properly until I was 30 by this time I was stretching ever day and some times went to the extremes of having people pull my legs and stand on my hips to achieve the last couple of inches.
Good Job. Have you always been flexible? I notice you are not as young as some karateka who do the splits on here - is this something you have developed later on in life? Or just maintained?
