Modern kazakhs are constituted of 1) ethnic kazakhs - turkic ppl (nearly 65%), 2) ethnic russians - slavic ppl(nearly 25%), uzbeks, uighurs, tatars (all three are also turkic ppl), ukrainians, germans, koreans and many other ethnicities. Vast majority of them (except ethnic kazakhs, the native people of these territories) moved here just in twentiteh century.
